As i understand it those who have preordered the game but who like me did not first log into their impulse account will get an email with a key and dl link then we can associate the game with our impulse account during install.. very tricky to track down.. to eliminate software (i.e. windows corruption / virus ) have you done a wipe and restore.. after that it could be a lot of things and hard to narrow down (unless you have several pieces of hardware laying around 2nd power supply, ram,cpu,graphic card and main board..)

I can understand the goal of keeping tactical battles short.. In a game of this size hours long battles could really cause many to shy away... I will wait until we get a chance to test the tactical system before I commit any further to we need longer battles... for the record I have no problem with longer battles as I am one who will enjoy that as much as the adventure and civ building aspects of the game..

Let me lend my text (i.e. voice) to the support of this idea.. It simply makes sense that an npc that adds to research gain exp while stationed in a town with a research resource in it.. (I hope this would no be to hard to code) where as when he is moving around the only exp it gets could come from combat ( or the below suggest exploration).. another idea is when a unit is set to explore for each grid location it exposes (i.e. removes the original cover) it gets some exp

I kinda of like the look of the home page.. its neat, crisp and lack unnecessary widgets that increase load times and set of antivirus/antispyware software. however some of your other suggestions seem fair to me .

I do like the idea of creatures or humanoids (that might carry their own items/ accumulate loot of things they kill) having random loot.. it makes sense as well as adds another reason to hunt down creature/enemies other then pure exp. however I suggest that depending on what killed does this killing, in many cases their should be no goodie hut generated.. for example a spider is killer by a orc.. if said spider had loot orc should claim it therefore no goodie hut.. if spider kil

I think archers should have a 1 tile range this would simulate how they get a shot in before closing... of course this could be handled on the strategic map but the question is does this play out well in auto complete i.e. do archers get a first strike in these instances?

I like the idea of making the shinny effect more visible in 3d view... I am totally against removing the graphic for small things the world of elemental can be very big making this very annoying.. be sides the graphic representation of something interesting is merely a tool to simulate the fact then in a real world like situation, we would see that dropped coin, wallet, or bag. that's how I see it any who...
