This thread is a gold trove! [e digicons][/e] More classes and/or an overhaul of the existing classes would certainly also be appreciated by me. I for one would love to have two magic classes possibly necromancer/summoner/druid/warlock/witch/enchanter, tons of other magic to use for that kind and also a ranger class to spice up those (cross)bows.

I agree with razzafazza here and would like to add that a true ranger class with more bow/crossbow skills than the rain of arrows would also be cool.

Well maybe, just maybe, this is all a ruse and the Spell "Vatula's Dragonslayer" is working 100% against the Master Quest's last enemy aka the Dragonrider. I don't know, I never tried it [e digicons]O:)[/e]

Alright I'm in. I'll start right now! Edit: I assume WHO I face does not matter right? Edit2: MISERABLE FAILURE! Oh noooo, my custom race (my opponent) crushed my poor little ass. Seems like a straight up - no units - b-line towards the spell doesn't cut it on this difficulty level (didn't even start to build any tower allthough I did finish the research on turn 183)... too bad. At least QProcipinee was a good fighter

It is most useful to have ranged units along with your spear+shield ones. Those spear units will fortify in front of your ranged units (preferably mages) and cover them with their increased dodge as well as dealing safer dmg with the increased accuracy. The AI cannot run thorugh those units, because of their zone of control meaning anyone passing along your units has to stop if it is crossing inside a 1 radius

The thing with multiplayer in this game would be its unbalancedness. Noone would want ot play 1on1 because if one got near a wildland that is easy (Deorcnysse, Pits of Namtur) to exploit in the early game it would be too much of a bonus. Anyways, nice story OP, although your spelling is ... lacking.

The thing with the Kraxis is that if you are playing on a low dificulty you can just pursuade the enemies capitol (or most advanced city) since it will "only" cost 1000 gold. Same thing on higher difficulty is, it most often is too much money to spare. Be careful though: If you do not send troops to that city or rush a unit production there it WILL be comquered back very easily. However you can use the 100 gold bribe on enemy units to win fights you normally wouldn't. BUT

smeagolheart, I don't want to disappoint you. But I'm gonna spoiler you nevertheless: the Spell from Vatula the "Vatula's Dragonslayer" has no effect. It just costs mana.
Quoting N1ghthavvk, reply 17 I have started to really see the benefits of early Research. It gives you so much tech advantage over your opponent and possibly allows you to keep up or even surpass insane opponents. At the beginning only real numbers are importaint. Any 10-20% of 1 are not so important. Difference between 1 and 2 is 100% while 10-20% is 5-10 times lesser and not so significant.
I have been pos

I'd really play this game-mode! It sounds awesome at the moment I am often playing a round of FE:LH with only one Novice AI faction on the map "The Wildlands" to reach a similiar feal. Unfortunately the AI either decides it needs to die and the game is over or it expands too much for my liking :( That proposed game-mode of PvE sounds like something I personally would enjoy.

I agree with NeoNick's proposition. At the moment my sovereign is the only hero gaining levels at all in my games. The others just sit in cities. Yes I could make several armies, but those cost gildar whereas a double hero army would even lower the cost. And with Air 4 and Call of the Titans being a thing I can get away with this. HoMM is another thing that brought me to buy this game and play it, just because I liked having my heroes levelup. In tha

Hello. Today I have come to report a particular issue (or exploit) with the Version 1.3 . There is the possibility to upgrade city improvements of a city MULTIPLE times. This allows for potentially unlimited stacked: Production/Research/Gildar/ZoneOfControl/Unrest Reduction/Grain/Food and Metall/Crystal/Mana/Shard production bonusses in Armor/Accuracy/Levels and Unit Training Cost Reduction for trained units such as our Henchmens this also in extreme cases

I'd definately like to have a choice concerning my loot. That would be great. Also concerning Maul and Magical Staffs, I am sure it does work for melee staffs. Concerning Maul and ranged combat: Can't you imagine Legolas firing arrows very fast at an Olifant, taking down the monster one shot after another? If you argue that the attacker sees the damage done or the blood and gets a kick out of it, why wouldn't a magic user or archer be able to see that and q

I've just had the Slippers drop on me, but I ignored them because I liked my "Dancing Bard Shoes" better. Stardock could considering doing something like that here or at least give credit to user designed loot, etc. That might spur some activity around new content. Imagi

Depoends on what I want. If I for example want a really good warrior: Empire: Ironeers/Wraith/Tarth +Lucky +Quick +Wanderlust Thats about it. Sovereign: Adventurer/Noble/Armorer/General +1 damage +5 unrest +3 damage +1 initiative +Ereogs Token +Air 1 +2Initiative Bracers / +4 Armor Bracers That should do it. This ensures a very strong fighting force.</

I just recently finished a game with a Warrior soloing the entire map. The key items and equipment were the "Maul" Equipment (yes this is an accessory you can only gain from defeating a Quest DLC opponent) The "Golden Belt" for the 25% aoe damage on each attack making you a formidable fighter. Any sword with more than 40-50 damage although the best weapon is the one that lets you crit on every hit. That way you can crit maul your way through any opponent. (If you can s

Interesting point you have there Necaradan
Cursed items are weird though.. this game isn't like Baldur's Gate were you can find 'unidentified' items and equip them to get a nasty cursed surprise, here you can read the stats as soon as you get stuff right? What's the point of having any cursed items when you can determine risk/reward as easily as taking a look?
I remember in the game

Yes I can only add that I would really like an overhaul for the "Blood God Armor". It just feels bad compared to items like the "Spectral" sets and the "Sun Fire Gloves". Also more items which are unlockable by techs not just randomly drop in the world would make this DLC worthwhile at that instant. Item that are more early game oriented and worse than other ones in the same category should also be considered, especially bows and crossbows, because at this moment those categor
