Very good answer. Thanks for explaining.

I am very excited about having the sovereign omnipresent. But to me it has to "feel" that way, too. So quoting rahal:
100% exactly precisely positively like master of magic 2! --- Frogboy, don't know how this would fit with your resources and budget but (IMO) one of the charms of MoM was the 'fluff' which gave you a feeling of being a wizard ruler in your tower. e.g. the 'cutscene' vignettes li
Sometimes I'll make my Captal a Twon and pick those Guildhouses which give +Gildar when producing Gildar, etc. Then I'll proceed to make the Treaties with the AI which gives +10% (or was it 25?) Gildar increase in the capital + a traderoad. It grants a nice Gildar income, but lately I've been preferring to not use any "Infinite Builds". (Could be mod related since I use webusver's Patchwork mod which makes gildar not so much of an issue).
To my knowledge the "Eye of Dragons" quest once was the master quest, though I don't know when it got changed? But the storyline for the actual master quest makes more sense for it to be the "game-winning" quest. Having control over all dragons versus beating one Ashdragon + his "tribe" seems a little better. But the wording could of course be changed to make that Ashdragon the ruler of all dragons or something. And the quest with the dragons sceptre could then jus
Agreed.
I am using the pathwork mod and I'm still able to play on Huge Maps. It actually got updated to have better AI for those big maps as well.
Yes unrest increases when city gains new levels. The lower level - the less unrest. So, high level cities need unrest reducing buildings. About guards - any unit in garrison reduses unrest by 2. Then 1 is added from trait. So 9x3=27. Then add city defenders, they also reduce unrest. Good governors should also not be forgotten. Their bonuses are global, no need for a hero to sit in a city.
Oh I didn't know that.
There should be less unrest. Are you using other mods? In my mod there is no unrest increase per city. Yes, I checked this: 0 Garrison units reduce unrest. Make cheap units with Guard ability - this will reduce unrest even more.
Oh another thing: Having the Ashwake Dragon as a mount sounds and looks(!) cool, but it is a really terribly unbalanced thing to have early on. I am by no far sight a good player and only due to its devastating attack (the fire breath) could I hold my ground against 1 warring AI on Normal. I also noticed you gave the sovereign creator all other items a cost of 0 while the dragon has a cost of 5. I think the dragon is fine because it prohibits anything else. but that should mea
This looks good. I'll try it out. [reserved for Feedback] Edit: I'm liking most of the changes. Although on my huge map with 7 opponents the game still was slow as hell during turn calculations. I didn't finish my game (yet), so I had to struggle pretty heavily with the unrest penalties you modded, because I also imposed Cruel +5 and Rebels +10 on myself since I wasn't accustomed to unrest being huge.
I do sometimes. E.g. to see if a special route to take a special treat is worth it. Or what exactly it does. Appreciate your work! Please do keep in mind, most people using a wiki never talk about it.
I would expect Warrior Caste trait to give me some kind of 1-per-Faction-Academy that strongly enhances the units trained in the city it was build in. That seems more fitting imo.
I'd really like such a racial trait. But what will you call it? Advanced Traitor? :D
Yeah this really doesn't make sense. I mean even if its intended it should be scaled back, because you cannot win with this building (even if it still is powerful).
Personally, I love documentation. I lurk the forums and read manuals at work In any case, the current manual and spellbook are for FE and therefore full of incorrect info. This feels really sloppy and unprofessional.
I've been saying this since the beta started [e digicons]X([/e] But apparently noone cares.
It indeed only goes as far as you target it. That way you can reduce the range yourself. Not the most practical feature, yet it is there.
Some things you just have to accept the way they are. That's a life lesson as well.
Thanks for replying. I'm very happy with the continuous improvement the game receives. But it is a bit puzzling when we're given a roadmap (UI = 1.4, Diplomacy = 1.5) and then 1.4 clearly isn't about interface improvements, without an explanation.
Yeah. I can only agree. More communication could improve that though.
Yes, the Diplomacy....... Somehow it is sad that an Alliance Treaty is really never good.
Sometimes when you wildly click around because you wouldn't want the last order (like it often happens to me), the combat gets stuck. It helps to let the AI do one action, then switch back to non-automatic fights. That way you don't have to autoresolve the entire fight.
Ascian rocks. I like having the trait that enables me to buy spellbooks, especially water and air for slow + haste, which makes her even more useful.

... and forgot to mention pimping up her accuracy on levelling up makes her Maul ability nearly unstoppable.
Of course Ascian is a hero. That has its advantages. But since she normally starts on level 7-11 or something in comparison to a level 20 dark
I would agree on that point. I have only been trying to explain it somewhat logical.
Seems odd. Maybe someone can check up on it in the .xml?
Think of it this way. The bandits offered you 200 gold. You killed them so you looted them. You recieved the money from them (200) plus the amount of money the Noble Man gave you (100). That makes for (300).
@MozRat, you can follow the instructions of Derek of how to properly report an issue, providing a savegame and a crash report (in your very own topic). But without any specific information I doubt someone can help. https://forums.elementalgame.com/447542/page/1/
