What is Data Execution Prevention? Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that can help prevent damage to your computer from viruses and other security threats. Harmful programs can try to attack Windows by attempting to run (also known as execute) code from system memory locations reserved for <span class="notLocaliza
Just played a game where 2 factions were repeatedly stealing an outpost from each other.
But Weaponsmith has other uses besides building armor. The name is 'Weaponsmith' not 'Armorsmith'.
I don't like clubs or hammers. Their initiative is too low. I want to attack first and often so my units are usually spears and axes. I even delay archers until I get higher initiative bows and mages even later. Many of my battles only last 1 or 2 rounds. The Rush trait is very important for spears and axes to allow positioning. My champions without Rush are noticeably less useful. Horses are a priority for achieving speed of attack.&nbs
How about changing the pictures so that some characters have pointy ears? Make it an option when creating a sov. The Gilden sound like they should be depicted as dwarves.
In FE:LH i'm just getting more and more annoyed. The game is great fun, but leveling is pathetically slow. Plowing through 3 deadly armies that could potentially cripple my main stack is worth almost nothing. There has to be a better middle ground. The values as they are just seem way way to low compared to the world.
+1 I'm not playing this game for some ki
They are complaining about only getting XP points when winning battles and conquering cities. They've heard stories about taking weapons and equipment when defeating champions. They've heard about getting gildar and fame for capturing a city. Their wives are complaining about the low wages and think they should be rewarded for their risky occupation. My mages want to be able to acquire spell scrolls from defeated mages and darkling shamans. They a
After winning Lombard, I placed a unit at the entrance to block others from entering. But Magnar came along and passed through. He also did that at another choke point I had blocked. Magnar was equipped with a horse and had Timeless March and this occurred on a road. Is this related to the way we can jump over caravans?
The problem is that I had no contact with Yithril. If I can't see them how can they see me?
I got a message that Yithril had cast Frozen Bones on one of my cities. The problem is that I have not yet met Yithril. If they are within range to see my city why haven't I got a greeting from them? Isn't this an act of war?
I've also experienced this. The delay is such that it appears to be a failure.
Can you use Lower Land spell to get to it?
Another faction settled a city next to the ZoC of my outpost. This would have caused me to lose resources as soon as the city grew. As I result I had to declare war and raze the city. I really did not want to do that! Isn't there something that can be done with the game to mitigate the harm? Like attacking the city without declaring war? using diplomacy to persuade the owner to raze it?
I liked having the boat in the scenario but it was too slow. Boats could start off being just transports but with combat between them being between the units they carry. Boats without units would have no defense or attack. Boats could be built when a city has a dock developed. Allow cities at a beach to develop piers etc. Allow pier when a city grows next to a river or beach.
I killed the 2 empire factions, made an ally of Pariden, and have a non-agg with gilden. But Gilden will not present the chance to become an ally. With 33 more seasons to end the non-agg, the game has become boring so I'm starting a new one.
Lightening Form works like crossbow and it is rarely usable. Crossbows are under powered.
There's a narrow battle field where I have had this occur. The unit ran off to right field.
One distinct advantage of Henchmen is that they can start off with Life Adept and quickly get the Heal spell. They also make great governors if you have a good fortress to produce them (with custom design). Mine start off with Administrator II and Road Building. They reduce unrest by 40 points. Create a scout with a horse. Use it to gather free goodies. Could also use it as a delivery service to transfer goodies between armies. Can also be used to
I would prefer being able to convert a fortress to be a town. Many American cities started as forts when the country was expanding into Indian territory. In Europe many cities grew around castles.
It does cost resources to upgrade weaponry and defense. I'm guessing that this is not a bug but intended to provide balance.
I'm an aggressive player and prefer assassins and mages. Warriors are acceptable. I don't like defenders. Assassins have high chances of getting a critical hit. Mages can cast protective spells (like gift of iron and fire protection) and can cast aggressive spells (like sunder). If your sovereign is a Beastlord, you also want him to be a mage to get high spell mastery.
Grabbing land is a lot easier if you use Arcane Monolith to establish outposts. Not only can you grab resources but you can also reserve good tiles for later settlements. Also allows you to establish connection between cities to lower unrest. I usually go for creating cavalry as soon as possible. Mobility allows you to control a lot of space and react quickly. Create a Commander with Roadbuilding to also increase control. A cavalry unit can move 16
That's why it's called expert level. [e digicons]:|[/e] Can you win at the next lower level?
This is an intermittent bug that is been around for a while. Sometimes after a roadbuilder finishes all moves the Road function does not work for the last tile. It's then necessary to do it on the start of the next turn, which is easy to forget.
