Sounds like your asking for a map editor and the ability to hit print screen :) I don't mind the feature, its just not on my top 10 list since it would do little for the game itself Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Make sure you're going on quests. They give a lot of XP. Also, like Parrot said, don't group champions together.
I would love if both of these were clear by playing the game, I never get a notice that tells me how many XP I get from completing a quest, for example. That said, I usually run around with my sovereign solo all game, or with trained units (running with trained units doesn't drain xp), and outleve
In case anyone is wondering why I post so seldom, it's because the fights are mind-numbingly slow. To kill an obsidian golem, Lord Petar needs to take about 200 swings. He can always dart in and out of reach, so there is no danger to him, but it is BORING! I need a break. A few things I would like to point out: 1. The 'three turns minimum build time' rule is silly! Manufactorium has 95 product
While the first study and merchant are very important buildings, I might as well spam pioneers and build one in my new cities instead of in my capital. I usually only spam pioneers to the extend of important resources and new cities, but sometimes I am flooded with locations for new cities, which leads into a very trivial pioneer spamming game, also a game where I am most sure to win. The point is not that I was lucky enough to gain a lot of viable city locations nearby, the p
Too much 'auto' and users become frustrated for lack of control. Too much 'management' and you get road-spam problems.
That's why its nice someone pointed out 4 areas where the auto-roads are annoying, so the devs know more exactly what is annoying with the current roading system. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I think the spells should be less dependant on shards to work, and more dependant on stuff like path of the mage and spell mastery. Currently mages usually get so high level that succeeding with a spell becomes trivial. I do not like the percentage though, its either not going to scale with shards, or be extremely shard dependant (Like Now). Luckily these are the trivial details that can be easily modded. Whats this magnification thing? Im not really good enough with these computers to help, just dead curious :D Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I have a lot of towns and the list on the left needs to scroll (even if the the units list is closed). The problem is the last 2-3 towns are in the corner down left and under the selected unit information box and as much as I tried scrolling I can't see the "not building anything" icon next to them or click on them. I rely on that list to tell me what cities are done building. I play on a 1920x1080 resolution but I think the is
Also Air 2 gives a city enchant called "Aura of Grace" which is quite powerful in 0.952. (+2 initiative per essence in city to trained units). This becomes even better with the Pariden factions ability to produce +1 essence in each city, although Pariden units are fairly weak without shards or other boosts. Sincerely ~ Kongde
Lord Markin equipped with Curgen’s Hammer, and enchanted with Giant Attack has just done 808 damage in a critical strike. Just a little overkill??? The ‘Sweep’ ability has a MAJOR delay before excuting its casting. Umm…just completed the second gate quest and received the ‘Curgen’s Hammer’…but I got one already…picked it up when lord Verga surrendered to me
I could always help with a build for sovereign, but I do not understand what you want with your sovereign. I usually focus my own sovereign on the magic type I usually want to use, if I want to level my heroes I pick air due to the enchantment "Tutelage", if I want to play a game with a blaster hero, I pick fire, and usually just pick "Earth" due to the Enchanted Hammers spell... Right now I will hold back any major guidelines or anything, since strategies change from beta to
I would still like it to be part of the normal game, not some weird thing where I have to go do stuff in my documents or wherever. The game should not have a "feature" that is not included in the game that have no user interface. Not trying to be harsh, I really like the idea, just hope it gets to be part of the "Workshop" section with proper User Interface so us dummies can use it too. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
And bring Umber back !
This was the most important part I saw... :P Well thanks for the post anyways, Hope to see some tweaks to monster behaviour. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I can't seem to change map color when creating a custom sovereign. It brings up the color palette when I click on it but it doesn't change in the preview with all of the other colors.
I agree, I told them of this pointless options some time ago (I think :)), silly to show it to me if there is the option affects nothing, or is not ment to be changed. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Very good points. Signed, or whatever its called :D Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I usually always ignore ranged weapons and in the current build consider the "No ranged weapons" a benefit due to not needing to research ranged weapon technology to get to the end of the warfare tree. Both staves and Bows seems slightly worse than melee weapons IMO, I might be wrong but... Melee weapons just works so well.. Chance to hit is based off accuracy (I think) but would be cool if dependant off spell mastery, I still miss the "Magician" squads from the old MoM, and a
I agree that each magic school needs a common foundation that makes it interesting atleast, so I wont just be like "Oh that hero just got level 1 air magic, I don't really care for him". I do get lost when reading your post though, I am unsure of what it is exactly you are suggesting, best thing I could see is that you are trying to suggest that each school get a common foundation, meaby each school have a damage spell at level 1 so you can actually have a MAGE character inst

I think there should be more traits available for non mounted units, and also traits that deal extra damage to mounted units. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
