I like the idea though, I see a complication with some buildings being in silly locations after half a town being razed, but I want this feature too. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Thanks for taking you precious time coming here and typing this, to help the sorting it will help if bugs are put under FE Support forum. Submitting bugs help: https://forums.elementalgame.com/415301 Your suggestions are really good though, although nr 3 (Essence on world screen) is already showing when not looking at the cloth map, but in a very hidden way. It will create 3 small nodges in the city's big sign, the

Sad thing that slowing down the levelling of heroes would affect so much, but I agree, the epic pacing would make heroes even more powerful, but that might change someday when trained units have a chance against heroes, and researching new weapons for your heroes will become more important that the random chance of some super weapon dropping. ;) Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Might want to explain what you were seeing when the game crashed (during startup, clicking end turn, afking from the computer, whatever). Also if you link something, a tiny space or a lineshift after the link will make it clickable and easier to access (Can remove the space afterwards) Example: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8947534/debug.err As a last note, next time you might want to put it on the "FE Support" forum, th
I wish too they would include more spells, or at least spell animations into the game. I would love to try some cheap/free magical attacks coming from spellbooks OR path of the mage. Either that or see spell-staves use spell mastery and have the game supplement the choice. Sincerely ~ Kongdej

I think your latest 6 points of wisdom is spot on, 6 items that kind of bugs me too, well meaby except for nr 2, the map shouldn't be completely squared and parallel all the way through, if you get my drift :) I do tend to find some items in huge avalanches, like some games I get like one trillion maces, the next game its all about these fancy daggers. Not entirely agreeing with 100% of the OP, but it is well read and most of it is right now the bat. [quote quoting="post"]The overall presentation of FE could be improved. Right off the starting screen, the lullaby'ish music tried to put me to sleep. It certainly was not conveying the feeling of defiantly entering a devastated world with dangers lurking behind every corner to rebuild an empire from ashes. Music could be stronger with feelings of danger, mystery and defiance.

The biggest content is the new endgame spells. It might be impossible for the AI to cast them and many of them may not work as planned. They need testing, but should at the very least add some interest to the endgame. They are mostly geared towards desperate gambits when you ar

I think the problem is the different values to the level up traits, and after you choose path you still get the "rubbish" starter traits which might be ok, but is dead annoying since If I pick path of the governor, I want governor traits, not silly magic resistance. You might see some more balance in the next beta, but asking for full customization... don't think its going to happen, besides I personally like that little bit of randomness in hero levelling. Agree on everything except nr 6 and 7. While it would be nice with some "Limitation" for armour for archers, I think the fault lies in the powerhouse that the current armour is, and the next to no penalty wearing it, I think it should be fully acceptable to have armoured archers, as long as you can live with archers having 8 initiative instead of 14. Same goes with mages, I like the idea of choice, but currently there is no point not equipping full armour suits to every single
