I always am bothered with wonders, they just don't do anything for my fun factor, at least in elemental they are not necessary. I hope someone helps me make a mod to get rid of the damn bastards and create some fun buildings instead :P Sincerely ~ Kongdej

Tuidjy in my book you deserve a medal for that inspection, most of those FOW issues, Monster Issue, AI Sight and AI settling I already "kind of knew", but since I could not prove it my theories were turned away, so I thank you for putting up this elaborate testing, and I hope some of it is atleast considered. I will say to Frogboy, Thanks! for trying to fix some of these issues halfway through, that said could you please post more detailed information next time, I was lookin
The problem with stealing designs from other factions is 2 folds: 1. Blood traits, some are just very good (different), and can alter the design by quite a bit (trogs)... 2. Unique Equipments... should be self explanatory. Better bows, axes, swords, no armor, etc...
You would have to make some intelligence when coding this part I know, it will take some time and some advanced thinking, it was also just a cry out t
There are so many ways to accomplish what Kongdej is suggesting. 1. Copy the other factions unit - only if you have all the appropriate equipment. Sometimes that substitution won't make a good unit without those traits. I don't think the AI would be equiped to make that decision. (but if it's possible, it would be nice) 2. Have designed unit packs for people to download. 3. Have a community of pl
Hm this post is odd at best, I have not understand the people who "hate" "Savescummers" or whatever you call people that actually uses a feature implemented in a game. I don't think saving and reloading is cheating, I am not deceiving anyone, and I am not breaking the rules of the game. THAT SAID. I only load a game in FE when the game is bugged, that is fairly rare that I ever do that and the Autosave feature is enough of a cushion to help against crashes and whatnot.

And some factions are just too... Not my style for me to enjoy playing just so the AI have better units. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I think the AI should take unit designs from other factions and apply in they're own setup, when I play say magnar and design a unit with full leather, 3 traits and wielding spears, it would be nice to see the AI field the same speartroop as altar, and resoln, this would ofcourse be a slightly complicated program since it would need to check for faction specific things, or just translate faction specific items (say one-handed spears from kraxis would be translated into 2 handed spears, du
If people think the game is easy, I recommend trying a few things: one is: Randomize the map settings, this will help due to you cannot build a certain strategy over "I just need to get that iron deposit before turn 50" since sometimes resources will be low, and there will be a mile between each iron deposit, same goes with spellcasters and whatnot, with randomized map settings you have to adapt to how the map decided to look. two: Try new factions, if you look at a faction an
