I keep mentioning more abilities, because I want them haha
I think you should write all your suggestions down and at some point put all the abilities in a post somewhere, if nothing else I am sure it would be picked up by the lone modder looking for ideas ;). as always, thumps up for being creative, creativity sparks creativity. I love doublestrike as an ability but one should be able to miss.
Yes, and it have been reported as a bug before ;), atleast if you always hit, it shouldn't mention accuracy. And alternative would be apply a -30 accuracy for the next 2 turns due to tiredness. (If Derek doesn't want to go change the code structure). Sincerely ~ Kongdej
You can only have one Faction Weakness now.
Oh I hadn't noticed, that actually changes stuff. I still think its silly the combo is there, because in any case it should be applied to all the premade factions if we are supposed to use it in lack of better... Or they should reapply a 1-click "weakness" that gave 0 points (instead of 1) that just unlocked that same tech. People playing with uneducated and other st
Capitar is all about road building right?... :) Combat Engineering: Strike the enemy with a piece of road-kit, dealing 15 blunt damage and constructing a road below the unit Trailblast: Blast a bunch of roadpieces out on the combatfield, will create a path from the unit to the target location with expeditious movement. Defensive Roads: Quickly erects a vertical road, blocking movement, 1 adjecent tile is made impassable.... ~ K

Can't really go back and find my save before the tablet to provide better description, but here you see the tablet's effect. Next time, it helps to bring a screenshot or a savegame file (the savegame logs basic debugging info). Thanks anyways! Sincerely ~ Kongdej
An item gained by defeating a Darkling Shaman. Should give +3 spell resistance, has no effect when used (on Lord Relias).
I had a bonus effect, it is hidden as a "+3 base" though. Sincerely ~ Kongdej
Double strike's description says it attacks twice as -30 accuracy, however like most skills it auto hits, even when blinded.
This goes from memory, but abilities cannot miss no matter how much accuracy they try to reduce, old bug, might be fixed (I don't read patch-notes thoroughly, sorry ^_^) I haver never ever missed on double strike. Auboy, while I think your post is short and seemingly just spat out at random, I do agree that those kind of loopholes in the game isn't good.
maybe, but i'm not sure i agree. I usually either take the cruel penalty, or the clumsy penalty, the negatives from either are small enough to be inconsequential. And i exploit this to get one extra trait point. On top of that are the magic staffs that are available that bypass armor, which I can research roughly 3 t
Thanks, helps much. I was thinking more along the lines of trading a tech level, not points you are accruing to learn a new tech. I should've guessed that.
Oh I understand the confusion, but as said it should be seen as a "currency" more than information, it doesn't make as "much" sense lore-wise. But I think its a better game mechanic than the tech trading I see in other games, since those are either abused or ignor
However, on the other hand, i enjoy it. in the lategame, having an army that can move 8 tiles per turn on the strategic map is very useful, and feels well deserved for your effort.
Thats really how you feel? :S It causes more bugs by wandering out where you cant see. Light plate + Armorer sovereign = you'll DEVASTATE in the mid-game.
I have been wondering the balance here, but I hope someone took they're time to look into it ^_^. I still hope for a content upgrade that adds more armour types and weapons in the tech tree, so mid-game would be more for tactics and less for massing out the best units :P Sincerely ~ Kongdej
I dont understand the issue at hand :S I might be seeing this in the wrong way, to try and help I will explain tech trading as my memory remembers the mechanics. When I research a tech in the Warfare tree, I get a 5 special warfare points (whatever the number, I get some warfare points). These Warfare points are special points only used for diplomacy, they are like a separate currency in and of itself, that have a very special attribute. When I trade 5 warfare points
Concerning Bows: I think they are great for trained units as their damage gets multiplied by the number of troops. For Champs and sovereign, not so much. I have been playing Tarth and it seems impossible to make Lady Irane usefull while yielding a bow, it seems so much easier to build her with melee weapons or going caster. this stinks as I would much rather play her as archer. I am new to the game so I may be missing something though..
