Here's some more gameplay: [Fix?] Lady Irene for some reason has Crushing Blow constantly cast on her twice. http://imageshack.us/a/img713/4672/game12ladyirene.jpg The problem here is that Othollo wants to cast Crushing Blow against her…but can’t because it’s being considered the same as an enchantment when in fact it should be use ability. Ended up playing a bit more this evening afterall: [Balance] Sovereign’s Call doesn’t seem worthwhile anymore. Maybe that’s due to its relative strength from before…but I’m passing over it every time now. [Fix?] It’s a small thing, but on the Achievement Built screens, there are two little boxes right in between the paragraphs that probably shouldn’t be there. <a href="http://imageshack.us/a/img545/5294/game12achievemen
Yeah, took me one or two tries before I figured out what was going on. Would be nice if a ) They had that message b ) There were enough quests to pool from that you don't need that message. Either works for me. XD
The last 10 games I've played I've had strong groups of mobs 10 tiles from my starting location in any direction I tried going. I spend so much time fighting against the environment that by the time I create 2-3 more settlements the enemy NPCs power rating is hundreds of points above me. This is with all settings set to moderate / normal which so not have so powerful critters right next to starting positions. At this point I'm extr
Here's some more: [Balance] Arcane Monolith was just snapped. I saw a bunch of good resources way out by another faction. A simple spell and ‘poof’; I get to build the improvements instead. I would offer up a maximum range to the spell from the sovereign’s location to help hone in this abuse. [Fix?] The UI still moves on to the next target after loot has been picked up or a battle started. This makes for confusing game play. [Fix?
Good catch. Would be an aweful shame if the air unit left the rest of the group while in the middle of a mountain range or ocean. Splash!
Tactical regeneration has been removed from combat. Going to have to rely on healing spells and potions from now on.
I dump all 7 of them in on a Normal map. Lot's of room to play. I'm around turn 100 and have wiped out 2 empires....wasn't much to them. Have come across 2 more now that will eventaully share the same fate. XD
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 3 [Balance] Still think Adventurer’s Guild should have 100% chance at providing 1xp per season. Fortunately the chance function is broken, so you do get +1 per season.
LOL
All of which is hogwash imo. Road development has some serious shortfalls at the moment.
Here's some more: [Fix?] The Recall Scroll indicates transportation to my capital. How do I know what my capital is? [Applause] Ironeer Ale FTW!! Would be nice if it gave 2hp. After all…it IS the good stuff, right?
@Stevenaus, I have a pet peeve when people try to represent a feature request as a "bug fix". Let's stick to using the word "fix" for bugs please.
Well, I'll sincerly apologize if I've accidently done this in the past. Wouldn't want to have an idea completely discarded just because it was thought to be a bug. Us non-tech people get confused with all the complex nomenclature from time to time. [e digicon
As I still believe there are serious problems with the map generator, I’m going to put out some stats in how long it takes me to get an acceptable game going: Ctrl-N Count: 8 No Essence Count: 5 Ctrl-N Crashes: 3 Duration till acceptable game: 10min I have now found an acceptable start. It’s actually quite contrary and contrasting to what I’ve received in every single previous attempt. Here&rsq
Before I get started, and considering the hasty nature of the beta releases, here is a list of items that have not yet been addressed from my previous beta test games: [Tweak] Random events still do not happen with enough frequency despite the game setting set to ‘more often’. Recommend that the frequency of random events be increased. [Suggestion] When you obtain loot and are given the choice “Equip” and “Okay”, the “Eq

why so fast?? I don't even have time to properly beta test 0.982.... And the release is so small... But I can't resist. Downloading now. XD Has the issue for surrendering AI's been dealt with? When you ultimately destroy a faction sovereign, you should still obtain control of him, as you would if he surrendered to you. The difference should lie in the negative trait that is inhibited.
Played some more this evening. Here are the notes: [Bug] The concept of cities lowering hills and mountains causes confusion later in the game. The flat land is still considered a hill and has the movement restriction…but it’s flat land now! In addition, the change in altitude in how the hills auto-dropped is pretty extreme. http://imageshack.us/a/img202/7910/game11bughills.jpg [Bug
Just got me a Ravenous Haridran. Attack 21 and Hp of 63. Solid choice.

Potential Customer: So how would you describe the world of Elemental? GFireflyE: Well, it's alot like this world, except there is magic and the physics prevent wood from floating or arrows from being fired at elevations above 6 feet.
@ Kestral2040 Ironically that movement crash just happened to me again. I shall send the files to entitled "FE crash from moving my hero"
@ Kestral2040 Thanks for the response As to 'snaking', it was in the code once before, and possible still is. Would it not be possible to toss the mechanic into the options menu? That way, players can choose to snake or not, and I think you would get many happy gamers as a result. As
If I had my druthers, I would ask Stardock to spend one more week and incorporate some of our diplomacy ideas. I sense they're getting antsy to release so it probably won't happen until after release. We're not asking for much, but here are a few simple things that could spice up diplomacy. 1) Allow two responses for each conversation... For example, the AI says "I just researched Charms".
