had the same thing happen to me one game. Not sure if it specifically happens only with the Apiary (like in my case and the example above) or if other resources can pop up too.

Maybe having influences in your queue should result in an unrest penalty for each one you have- like 10 or 20%. It will power up the Master scout trait, enabling you to randomly settle cities with strong auto-defences.
Very good point. Once troops are actually a buildable strategy, thought should be taken such that no specifc troop type is spammable and abusable at the same time. It should take a mix of types for an army to be successful. [quote who="MiamiBigAL" repl

Great job Stardock! Ya, it speaks volumes about you. MoM AI was awful, so giving FE credit for being superior to awful is just sad.
Ob
@ joeball123 The Great Library held the world's knowledge. It could have easily been copied...who wouldn't want all that beneficial knowledge? But it wasn't.... I think that's what Stardock is trying to get across. They're 'inventing' these buildings to BE wonders, and by that essence
Banished Ogres tend to louder than expected, especially when they're hit with an attack. It's been awhile since I've heard, but has that occasional loud lightning strike when playing an empire faction been taken care of? Other than that, I've thought the game to be fairly balanced for sound (and I've been paying attention because I had that game start book sound problem since 0.951 that was fixed in 0.983.) versions are approximate.
I'm hoping that the game will be modified to allow for sovereigns to join your cause under several other conditions aswell: The current surrendering, acquiring the Broken Spirit negative trait. The destroying, acquiring the XXXXX negative trait. This would happen when you 'kill' an opponent faction. 'At the last moment' instead of wisking away to safety, he joins your cause, but has a different negative trait. The hiring, acquiring

But when I need metal to build one of my heavy cavalries, there's no easy way to pull what I need out of my ass. Not unless you make metal really cheap in diplomacy. And by the way, you cannot get 6 Gildar for metal unless the AI has ran out. Talk to an AI with 300 loads of metal in its stores, and it will offer you
I would leave crystal as is and rebalance on the other end. If Ash Mage is not worth 15 crystal and Stardock is aware, they'll look at reducing crystal requirements to 10. On a side note, someone with a great deal more beta testing experiance than I should go through all the units that can be built and judge whether their crystal and metal and production amounts are weighted appropiately for their power. Might be somewhat awkward to do considering that troops are not co

Autoresolve told me that I won. Possibly the Dark

Having 'bottleneck' maps isn't my preferance and definition of fun. I much prefer the maps that are single continent carved up by mountain ranges. True, it's still a type of bottleneck, but never seems as bad as on water. IMO, hoard lots of mana and start raising land straight north. You're bound to 'land ho!' eventually. XD
