Interesting article. Intersting read. I can see why 'Disjointedness' is on his list. I think he is correct in saying that 3 games (rpg, 4X, tactical) are trying to co-exist in one and that they do not quite mesh yet. There is no real 'story' being told in the sandbox mode, so RPG has been, I won't say completely slashed, but definately partially hindered out of the equation. Good Morning Well, I think I'm going to wrap up this 0.983 game. It's season 220 and the game is getting BORING. I'm at war with Gilden and Tarth, but they can't stop my single force of 4 heroes, no matter what he throws at me. There are many camps and quests that don't seem to represent their status properly. The Assassin Demon is a perfect example. It's a 'weak' encounter. Really? Everytime it kills a unit, it's full health again. This should be medium. The Alchemy Quest is ssooo easy, yet it's set to be a 'Medium' quest. Should be 'Easy'. I would have thought these status' would be relatively dependant to the army you currently have selecte
I'm disappointed with how few random events their are. Not just with the number, but also the frequency. Even set to the highest setting, I have only received 2 random events in 500 seasons. I figured I would have been getting 1 every 50 seasons.

I play on challenging: 1. Do you feel monsters act too randomly? Yes. It feels like they're rolling a d8 when determining where to move. 2. Do you feel like early game monsters are too powerful? Bandits, Wildlings, Wolves, Orges? They're very well balanced at the moment. 3. Do you feel like the Faction AI is getting a free pass with monsters? No in the very early game, as often a monster
