How about if monsters leveled up as the game progressed. I know they do it a bit...but there is still balance needed.
The Wargs are not powerful enough compared to the Horses, because they require more research and gildar. I enjoy the open concept and the ability to kick someone out of your turf....or to be kicked out. Must keep in mind that this is not Civ. There are quests to do and that means crossing other factions territory. I don't really like how harsh some factions are when you try to cross their territory. Understandably, if I'm headed for one of their cities, they should want to respond. But if I'm just cutting the corner of their empire...I should be able to get away with it, to set
You can still play the game with 1 unit in 0.982. Same problems are still hanging around.
Maybe they're designing the game so that playing it with a single unit is an acceptable choice? Afterall, you seem to continue to want to play that way... [e digicons]:-"[/e]

Quoting Trojasmic, reply 17 I want everybody to shush. I need those 300g quests early on and by the way, I don't always take the 300g. I'll make a secret copy for us, don't tell anyone.
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 1 [Balance] My city leveled up on season 14 with only +1 prestige. Way too fast considering the overall length of the game. The first city has the full advantage of the prestige bonus and according to lore, you start your civilization with followers of your travels. On a gaming level, the early game is already too slow and a level 2 city is precisely what we need to get things rolling.
Quoting seanw3, reply 5 ...how those precious (few!) Essence points are being used...
Agreed. Too few, imo. Still waiting for one of the following in sequencial order: Map generator to be adjusted, allowing for more essence to be available. All cities able to build scryi

Would be nice if there were a database of randomly selected names that pop up for those items though. Adds a bit more flavor to that style of loot. And you never know, you might get a pet scrath named Fluffy. [e digicons]XD[/e]
Agreed. This is war. There should be some notification when opponents are within your ZoC. Definately notification when Opponents enter ZoC. Maybe even that red Exclamation mark when opponents are in sight of your outposts. But definately should be allowed to 'sneak attack'. Being 'bumped out' when you declare war is the lamest mechanic in Civ IV, with the exception of colonies.
Item could be a little cheaper on the resale...but overall it's fine. It's nice to get a bit of a surprise in the loot now and again.

I could see the same issue for displaying the ZoC fo
Interesting quirk. Nice find.
This still happens for many small things. Does the panel update once you start your next turn?
I would think it's part of the title of the book. In that case it's appropriate that it's capitalized. Good catch.

can't you spin your map and click from a different angle?? middle-mouse button.
If you click on unit details it is fairly clearly marked what is a beast and what isn't (check the top part of the screen). Slags are dragons. Pretty tanky and the acid spit was awesome.
Quoting GFireflyE, reply 28 Forget about prestiege....you don't even need it. My capital leveled at season 14 with only +1 prestiege. If this game is suppose to last 500-800 seasons, there's some rejigg'n that needs doin'. Okay, let's use those values to do some little math. A city needs 50 population to reach level 2. Your first city starts with 30 pop

AI just needs a few more smarts in this area. If AI detects ranged attack...or at the very least is hit by a ranged attack as the first attack, maybe AI should charge in...
Biggest ones I've experianced was the ctrl-N crash and the load game while in game crash.
Very interesting trick. I LIKE the collar. Still working at what is defined to be a 'beast'. Apparently slags don't count. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] [e digicons]XD[/e]
