To play devil's advocate: The problem with only using absolute bonus values is that weak units basically gain at least one level of quality, whereas strong units gain nearly nothing. To continue your example, if outposts give +5 defense to all defending units, any unit with 5 or less defense becomes vastly better than what it was, where high armor units gain significantly less from the bonus. The problem with this situation then becomes: why build high armor units at a

I personally like the idea of unit traits being tied more closely to faction rather than losing unit customization altogether. Also I agree with some folks who have stated that armor pieces are not really needed, that full sets would do just fine, with different variations on a theme.

Change Growth to Life3 + Earth3. Change Shrink to Death3 + Earth3. Also/or/whatever, change their effects to stack with shards. Maybe something like Growth: +10% (+5% per Life and Earth shards) Attack, -10% (-5% per Life and Earth shards) Dodge. Problem solved. [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]

If he wants to copy and paste these numbers into his code to include in his mod, then that's just fine with me. I'm not going to worry about inter-mod compatibility in this case. I feel like I made this is as modular as it can possibly be. Sorry, wasn't trying to cause a ruckus, just prodding I have been too "tired" today to play anyt

Tinkering with the color of Tarth. In this screenie you can see my new test tarth color (middle) near the wildland color (bottom.) What do y'all think? What would you prefer, color-wise?

Well, do you have an installer changing the line of code, or are you going in and changing it by replacing the file, because if sean is trying to replace that particular file, and you are too, it wont work.... Whatever, hope that made sense ~ Kongdej[/qu

I agree. As I've already hounded them about faction colors (to some avail - magnar and kraxis got fixed) I feel like the only further action is to mod the rest of the changes i would like to see.
Along the same lines, capitar and magnar are pretty similar purples, and umber and kraxis are similar oranges. Do you think you could tweak the colors for them? I'd DL this mod yesterday if those 3 changes were made.
The only other colors I may take a look at are the wildlands vs tarth.

I'll look into it. I know for sure the radius can not be altered with calculations, so it will be static.

You've got my $5, even if I never use pre-made maps. I would hope there would be a little additional content besides the maps, but it doesn't really matter.

If you have Dropbox, just dump the debug.err in your public Dropbox folder and share the link here. Otherwise use an internet service such as pastebin. Also you should let the devs know what the specs are for your comp and OS (along with your video card.) Many graphical issue have shown up for XP and 32 bit users.
