Now that we have dynamic shadowing on the Kumquat engine, maybe we should re-think the nasty, too-dark shadows on the back side of the 3d objects in the game. I've kinda been messing with the default lighting settings because I don't like the default contrast between the bright side and dark side on units and buildings. What I've noticed is that there's a disconcerting blue-ness to the shadowed side of objects. This seems to appear only on the strategic map. (edit: Wrong, it's there in tactical as well.) Anyone have any idea if there's an XML setting somewhere for this? If not, could the devs be

@OP Bows are not underpowered at all. Ever notice they can be used at any range? That is a huge mechanic you are completely ignoring. (Sorry if this was addressed in previous posts, tldr right now)
I think I have noticed this when I load a saved game as well. I'll try to catch it next time.
Turn down the world difficulty if the game is too hard for you.
