This boring conversation again?

Navigate to c:/programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/legendaryheroes/data/english/corespells.xml Open the file with Notepad, or better yet Notepad++ (free download). Look for the block of code with the SpellDef "FirstAid" In that SpellDef you'll see the chunk of code I copy-pasted in my first reply. Replace the selection I highlighted in pink with [Calc] Voila! Your very first mod.</
I know not of what you speak, but I'm sure it's very interesting. [e digicons]:maybe:[/e]
If you want more levels, bump up world difficulty (=higher level mobs) and set monsters to dense.
The important changes are to AmibentLight and DiffuseLight, especially in CoreEnvironments as these numbers override the Defaults set in ElementalDefs.
For the love of God, please go through all of the stamps and get rid of the phantom river tiles. Stardock, does this not bother you when you play the game?
Idea: Introduce weight classes to weapons: None, Light, Heavy, Epic Anyone can use None. Strength unlocks Light in the General tree. Warriors automatically get Heavy. Epic unlocks midway up their tree with another trait. Defenders have the Muscle trait early-mid in their tree which unlocks Heavy.
Shield bash is great for breaking swarm lines. It's not always useful, but when it is it's pretty awesome. I like sweaty's idea about a stronger SB that also knocks the victim prone. Maybe call it Shield Charge, and it could allow you move in a straight line up to 3 tiles and then bash the shit out of your enemy.
Rivers weren't in E:wom. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And that was the problem with them.
There was a bug in the code that was causing the boni to increase exponentially per swarming unit instead of additively. It has been fixed for .80.
I walked in to Valve's HQ and kicked my update gremlin in his tiny little ball sac. The game updated forthwith.
That's just Ongr farting.
Ouch. Lightning farts are the worst.
It looks like a f****d up stamp. The river is blocked by a cliff at the water, and if you look in the ocean you can see the river continue on underneath the water.
Err...WTF? Save Game
Cool! [e digicons][/e] I started messing with the numbers before I realized what they did, so I knew I had screwed some stuff up. When I finally figured out how to get rid of the blueish 'dark side of the moon' shadow on objects I was pretty happy. I've also altered the settings since this video was taken (terrain lighting etc.) CoreEnvironments<
One example - Program the player factions that they should clear an area of hostile entities before settling a city, even if you don't bother to alter the criteria in regards to, "whats living beside that sweet spot for my next city". At least this would provide the "illusion" that its semi-conscious of that Epic Dragon Army living beside the same spot.
I have to admit, it would be pretty sweet if there were 'mini-wildlands' - basically Deadly+ monsters that
I'm pretty sure it already is, at least in some form. 0 1 0.0 0.0</Gl
I would suggest that all this is idle speculation at this point. The encumberance of a unit provided a different strategy to the game. These changes are dealing with the abstraction of the idea of encumberance. I look forward to the changes and here is why... everybody wanted to reduce the initiative bonuses and / or penalties for each weapon. Each item had weight and people were basically running the same tricks to overc
Honestly I would wait. They are changing major parts of the game mechanics right now. I would not say that LH is 'near-finished.' We may be a good 6-8 weeks from that point.
+1 for Steam Workshop, and improved mod integration.
Once a wonder is in the build queue of a faction, it cannot be started by any other faction. To me this is a bug.
Up until now they've never removed system from the xml, instead leaving them but not using them. I'm sure the encumbrance system will still be available for the intrepid modder if they do indeed decide to cut that mechanic from the vanilla game.
True dat. I'll bump this thing til it's black-n-blue. Definitely a fairly significant issue.
Interesting stuff, Frogboy.
