I believe random events are coming if not already here (don't really recall any), so I thought I would brainstorm on some I would like to see in. a multitude of random/semi-random events could really add to the mid/late game- perhaps have a .01 percent chance per turn that a powerful tribe has gathered from an adjacent continent and has 'migrated' this way= a horde comes in from the 'North'(random), where all tiles along the 'northern' border of the

"+ Fixed an issue causing troll camps to be unbuilable" - we can tax troll camps? not sure I'd want to collect from them, might get a big stick, a rock, or maybe a dead rat - perhaps Ogres would understand our currency better?

I'll buy anything with the elemental logo on it ('one of' my first games I bought was ROTK for nintendo= $80 from Toys-R-Us, had to save for some time). I too believe multi-player with the huge modding capabilities the game'll offer will extent its play life. I normally prefer hot-seat with the occasional 4-5 player online game but with my love of really epically huge maps then a nice PBEM style does sound appealing. Wouldn't mind this being put on tha bu

I'm not sure but I think demons in the Elemental lore were followers of the Titans, if this is the case then why not have them attempting to complete some goal to enable them to 'reincarnate' their long lost deity causing "-A Titan arises with his armies and starts plowing through factions." If the demons completed their task (maybe razing a lvl 5 city or the equivalent in population destroyed), a Shrine/temple/portal or whatnot would be produced in the city&#

totally agreed, I've been trying to get the neutrals/independents alot more love for some time, at first I was campaigning for all independents to have unique functions but this would require alot of work per each one and would result in fewer overall creatures (kinda like they're reducing the # of major factions so that the remaining will be more differentiated) & such but after a couple good conversations it turned out that a multitude of tiny wildands s
I would love to have an Ogre wildlands that plays more like a minor faction. That would be the key to immersion I think; a gradual field of levels of civilization. Tribal societies and nomadic savages should blur the line between what a monster is and what a faction is. Possibly even going so far as allowing Ogres to inhabit captured cities and play as a faction if they can hold it. For the Butchers, perhaps they can twist the population into hordes

EPIC (normally play 500-1000 turns or so before I restart & try out something else) with as large of a map & as many factions as I can put on it- dense/many shards and so on I like to play games that take at least a month or so of playin, but beta testing doesn't allow for this so I set up the same & play the first & second phase of play foregoing the timely 3rd (cleanup)

I belive they are adding mulitplayer at some point, just want to get the single player game down first. I'm gonna be buying several copies for family & friends once it launches, would be nice to play it with them.

Ok so I've never personally went into a Wildland (other than one move over tha border to try & negotiate, nothin), I've never seen a Wildland have significant impact on tha game, I've never seen an army from a Wildland leave it's territory (though they might but I've never seen it), I've read amongst tha forums that there be a lot of quests in some of them. So I haven't really ever paid much attention to them (Not being much of a ques

"Why can you pick up to 3 faction penalties when creating a faction? Shouldn't there be a limit like when creating a faction sovereign?" I love being able to choose more than one penalty, allows for greater diversity (I normally make @20 custom faction to play against as well as the normall 8). I just wish there were more penalties to choose from.
There should be lots of lesser Wildlands that say house a troll society. It would add some nice flavor to the map.
never thought of making abunch of small wildlands, this I think would be perfect so long as they can still negotiate with other factions (I turtle so much I've only seen a few wildlands & normally just tha borders) and create restrictions of various sorts to them, any idea on when the workshops gonna open?

there's an option as a Sovereign trait that pulls you in two additional mana per turn, getting shards, some techs might help out (not sure as I always go anti magic)

independants still dont: lvl up there camps, create new camps 'linked/owned' by original camp, spawn leaders, war/treaty amongst themsleves ( https://forums.elementalgame.com/417474 )

"mercenaries" - I've never recruited any, but can see how they could really make this a big part of tha game. One would be able to 'hire' on any array of heroes/monsters/units. I would like to hire on nearby tribes/camps of independents to ignore my units/attack others as well, this would give the intelligent ones a little more life.

gotta love your personality "get back over here you aint gettin away" "oh sh*t" "who's your daddy" I know it's still a bit away, but I can't wait to see a video of ya'll stardockians playin mulitplayer - I think it'll be epic with all the different strategies & treaties that are sure to happen. If I were you I would go for the Diplomacy win since I think it rare one would want to attack the hand that pays them. Might be n

I have never built an outpost, all I have ever used is one big lvl 5 city (sometimes two) & then turn on tha war machine if so inclined (granted I did lose my last play, as I never made an army unit). Outposts are one of those things I hope get love, like militia or guard units of sometype, for it will take this or some other big change for me to even consider using them. Would be really nice if they had a small patrol group that would wander around in its general v

If this happens their empire is removed, just like they were defeated but you gain that sovereign as a champion under your control."
