ya, I certainly didn't like the age factor in ROTK. Giving a hero a slightly larger chance to die in battle would solve the 'over population' with them I be thinkin.

Nobody likes a cheater, to me the worst kind of cheating is to bump up the stats of the opponents, I"m all good for letting them start with more traits, starting positions, & more general trickyness. personally I would prefer them not get a bonus to unit stats untill the last two difficulty lvls if ever. Changing the stats changes the enemy your fighting, they are no longer the goblins they should be but ogres (4 hitpoints to 16?) when all you wanted was&n

might be neat & add to the feel of the game if lets say two or more sovs are trying to raise/lower/destroy land & a counter is cast on it for example, there could be a small chance that the magiks will 'combust' causing one of those great chasms that dot the landscape from the last epic magic battle, a smaller chance to unleash some kind of demon or it resurrects one the great beings that have fallen in tha past (or creats a new one), or a node is formed?

Was curious as to wether we would have the option to let the ai control our armies in the tac battles? I really missed this feature in E:wom. I always loved being able to play the first round of combat in aow:sm then setting my armies loose to do as they wished. I've looked at all the vids & such only havn't been able to tell if this was in, just wanted to make sure it wasn't forgotten about.

I saw a city bonus that applies to all units built from that city (defence +3 +1pershard), do the miltiamen also get this bonus? I'm gonna have unbreakable defenses without ever building a unit (gotta love the number of possible strategies where gonna have). Military units require upkeep, militiamen defend out of love!!! Long live the ability to turtle, does a palace give extra defenders/militiamen, just seems like the importance of a palace would demand a standing guard<

I'd like to have an 'allied victory' toggle, & wouldn't mind if there was someway for a faction with a higher power rating to still respect me if we've had good dealings in the past, just because your powerfull doesn't mean you don't care about those that have helped you out of some hard times
