I own it but and waiting for 1.1 to really play it much more. About all I do is play a bit after each patch to see the changes.
Delmoroth
Demigod, is that like League of legends/ Heroes of Newerth/ dota/ all the others like that? I like that style.
Honestly, the way things seem to have worked on earth looks a lot like a nano-tech experiment to me. Every living cell counts on power generation by a separate organism which just so happens to be in every cell. The fact that mitochondria and chloroplasts have a different genetic makeup from those of the rest of the organelles in living cells suggests a lot. Seems more like engineering than chance. Anyway consider the fact that ma
I still say the issue here isn't about whether or not it is reasonable to download stuff illegal is right or wrong. It is illegal and that is what matters. The issue lies in the vast difference between the punishment and the crime. What your kid managed to sneak past your protective software and download a 20 dollar movie? Well guess what sir, we are coming after you for your house, but being the kind people we are we will allow you to pay us $1500 to
Lol i know what you mean on the long shifts, though not quite that long most weeks. Worked about 6 months of 7 days a week, 12+ hours a day before i decided to tell my employer I had better things to do and went back to school.
[quote who="LightStar" reply="213" id="2798982"] Could be, I just heard some news that this persecution is going world wide, centered from Hollywood and I had to share my displeasure. I am making plans to take my tax dollars and leave this Theocratic country behind! Really it is all about money and who is not getting any for their crappy products. Sorry to piss and moan but this country is fucked! So let me get this straight... you believe that everything non-tangible in the w
I just need more user generated maps. I am sick of the few good ones out ;/
I think the main issue here has nothing to do with piracy being right or wrong. Do companies have a reasonable right to go after people for pirating their stuff? But the fact of the matter is, the punishment does not fir the crime. People like to compare piracy to other forms of theft but the fact of the matter is those who are stealing things physically get the better end of the deal. So you stole a shirt that was values at 20$. Slap on the wrist.
Yeah, winter needs to hurry the hell up... I have been waiting a long time for this series and for the next book. Though i think George R.R Martin said something about a major storyline issue slowing him down on the next book more than anything to do with the TV series.
I think your best bet is to make your sov female, then marry off your males. That way you have control of the married couples (and can keep them safe), you still get half the children, and your females can lead your armies.
I would prefer the old method as well. It makes a lot of sense in the world the game is supposed to be in. The one issue I see is that magic would need to be much better than it is currently so it was a major decision to build additional cities. Of course this method wouldn't really fit the new magic system so there isn't much reason to worry about it.
I do think it is rather silly when the AI shows up with 10 stacks of units with 500+ hp each... I mean really.... Oh well, guess that is what i get for not city spamming and rushing the ai on turn 3.
Right now people are still having memory leak issues. I would suggest something with 6-8 gigs of ram so that you can safely use the crash fix to grant elemental more memory. This changed my game from crashing in a hundred turns are so, to never crashing. Unfortunately on 32 bit systems I think you are just stuck dealing with crashes.
Casters with armor are very easy to kill with ranged units before they can act. Take away their armor and channelers can't be part of combat at all. If their armor is removed they need spells that actually protect them.
Yeah, this seems to happen any time you kill something with 0 combat rating.
Lol yeah, i guess that would help a lot.
Seems like it happens for any kill on a 0 combat rating unit.
I don't know if it is still happening, but if it hasn't been changed, caravans need to be unable to destroy resources. I mean really.... it's a 0 attack unit that ignores my boarders and can assassinate my income. I do agree that making caravans/trade less micro intensive would be great.
Random, I think ranged does take more actions than melee. Pretty sure ranged takes 2 action points and melee takes 1.
Moral doesn't affect auto resolve.
ok, on both games i have played since the patch once i build 1 house my cities can max their pop. If i take an ai city it requires the normal number of houses to max their pop.
I think the only way to get more gold from + gold champions is to breed them to get more +1s.
I just get sick of building stuff in 50 cities every turn. It is lame that it is just better than not building millions of cities and you are therefor more or less forced to do it.
Really as long as the claim 1 square around them people will spam a city at every node. Honestly though any system is better than the current one where city spam is just better than everything else. It has it's place but it should always be some kind of trade off. Basic economics should be enforced, everything has an opportunity cost. Currently the only opportunity cost is... damn now i have to waste time to manage 50+ cities.
He had the dirty hacker trait which gives him all sorts of interesting powers.
