I hope they also make it so that 99% of diplomacy isn't who has the bigger army. I am fine with some factions being mega warlike, but all of them? really?

Past ten years? But most of the best games are older than that :O. Even if they had crap for graphics. Heh very nice ones being listed though.
Two of the best things ever combined... Win Win
I agree that distracted drivers are a major issue, however; I do not think that banning phones will help much. I think the cell phones being used while driving are a symptom, not the cause. Some people are just going to find something to be distracted by. If you take away their phones they will be looking at things out the windows, worrying about getting a ticket from the cop that just pulled up behind them or fiddling with their radios. In my opinion any crime that ris
Wait, was steam suggested as a way to avoid intrusive drm? Isn't that a bit like asking a politician to teach your kids about honesty?
Yeah, i have been hearing very bad things about the beta but i am trying to keep my hope alive.
I foolishly got sc2 at release just to find out that custom games, which are the part i was interested in, are much worse than back on wc3. Curse you blizzard! I just hope diablo 3 gets us back to the blizzard i know and love.
Steam does have some down sides. For example last night my internet was out so i decided to fire up oblivion (I like mods) in offline mode. Unfortunately steam was waiting for next log in to finish patching so when i clicked to enter offline mode i got an update failure and steam closed ;\. I tried to find a way around it but in the end was just out of luck. Not being able to play the games I buy due to some strange bug = lame. Luckily this normally is
Well, one mechanic that annoyed me is the standard TES magical merchants that can tell if any common item has been stolen from anywhere on the planet, so if you want to sell them you can either camp out in the thieves guild over and over selling a little at a time, or burn perks to fix it. That has no effect on actual character power level as if you want you can still sell everything without it, you just have to waste time waiting. The only thing it accomplish
The Good 1. Enchanting is available to non-casters as it is not linked to known spells. 2. Dungeons all have a quick exit at the back. 3. The graphics are pretty good. 4. Shooting people from stealth makes them say stupid stuff like... "Huh? What was that?" wait a few seconds "Oh, guess it was a bat" sit down. The Bad 1. Overall i felt the character customization way too reduced but this isn't too big a deal, oblivion wasn't th
My issue with heroes 6 is that it has horrible bugs which they have not fixed after weeks. After having to use tricks to get past battles in some areas without a crash to desktop, I found out that one of my unit's special abilities did not work at all ;/. After looking on the forums i saw there were tons of similar bugs which I had just been lucky to miss. I may try it again if they ever release a patch or 10.
Hmm, shouldn't have mentioned this.
Warband was amazing. In my opinion the best way to pay for your army is to start businesses in all the major cities with cash from winning tournaments. I can't remember what it is, but there is a mod that will allow you to do all your city interactions without having to walk around in town. As there is nothing to do in cities but walk around until you find the person you need to talk to, this mod is a great time saver while having no negative effect on gameplay. I
Lol raven, as far as gameplay, it has a much to do with it as an x-com shooter or a syndicate shooter. Unfortunatly it seems everything is being made into a shooter now because that is what many consoul gamers want.
I can't wait for the FPS Final Fantasy Tactics. It has to be incoming soon.
I think i would buy the sim city fps... that part of me that likes lame jokes would force me to play it even it if was very painful.
To me the issue with making syndicate an FPS is that it basically cuts everything that made syndicate syndicate out of the game. Kinda like changing Elemental into a shooter. Could you make a good shooter in the same world? Sure. Would it have anything at all to do with Elemental? Of course not. Though i must say, I would love to see them try for FPS city management. Dodge the rocket, start a building. Keep in mind, I am not comparing&n
Yeah, the hacking mini game drove me nuts at first, click..... wtf why did it use my time stom worm when I wasn't near it..... time to load on an easy ass rank 1 hack...they needed to add hot keys if they were not going to make clicking work properly. Good game overall.
To get past mines, crouch and hold the walk button at the same time. You can walk up and activate them to disable them then activate again to pick them up.
The reviews of the leaked build are overwhelmingly positive. I suspect that a high percentage of the people who downloaded the leak are fans of the earlier games. If that is the case then it seems very likely that people who enjoyed the other games will enjoy the new one. Honestly, I have yet to see a bad review of the leak which makes me think it is extremely unlikely that is is 'on rails' with little to no customization.
I think that the PC still has a place in the world. New technologies such as tablets certainly have their place, however; the fact remains that such devices are dramatically less capable that a desktop PC. Until a tablet or a smart phone (or whatever) can handle everything a PC can, I think it will be hard to replace the PC. That being said, bring on the new technologies. I love technology and wish to expansion in all areas. When a t
I would be kinda scared to allow people to beta it after all the bitching they got last time they let out beta builds of elemental. People downloaded the beta then complained that it was buggy junk.
My main issue with DLC is that it gives gaming companies a solid reason to hold features back at release that otherwise would have been in the game so that they can sell it to you later. DLC also causes companies to lean away from allowing modding by the community (which is many cases produces higher quality free 'DLC').
I bought SC2 for the custom maps, unfortunately it seems the custom maps are generally less interesting than those from wc3.
My issue with this is that it seems pretty clear that netflix is taking advantage of their monopoly to give their customers the shaft. First they push their 1 dvd and unlimited streaming from 7.99 to 9.99 then they split the two at 7.99 each. This is basically the tail end of a 100% price hike, not just a 60% price hike. With price increases coming in this fast, what are we going to be looking at next year?
