I like LoL, however, sometimes the devs just randomly decide to totally revamp the flow of the game and in may cases the rest of us are just going...wtf... was that supposed to improve something? Other times their changes increase whatever issue they tell us they are trying to decrease. Oh well though. LoL is generally a good game. Since it is free, i would suggest trying it. It has an item shop style set up however; you can not buy ingame power, which is not ava

I would love to see that sort of AI again. Seems odd that others have ignored such an excellent mechanic.

Bad news, the only way to truly hacker proof your machine is not to be connected to the internet ,luckily, it is much easier to make your machine slightly harder to screw with, thus causing most people to target the totally undefended.

Speaking of interesting RTS mechanics, anyone ever play dark reign? Though it was only a so so game in general, it allowed for players to customize ai on individual units. You could select a squad then set them to harass, but to come back and heal when low. You could set the hp threshold at which they would flee and then ignore them while you concentrated on expanding/major assaults. Anyone heard of that in another game? That was years and years ago. Ummm... is there a non-darkside to drm? I mean anyone who wants to ignore it can in 99% of cases. It generally just screws legit users. Dunno how many times I have been forced to abandon or rebuy a game because I lose some slip of paper than came with it years ago. At least now most can be registered online. I have to say in this case the complaint is groundless as it is about a beta test, while the release version runs fine without a connection.

Heh heroes of might and magic was fun, but definitely not a unique battle system. That was from the old king's bounty games, and king's bounty probably got the idea from something older. If you liked it you should try the new king's bounties.

I suspect that if a good chinese buffet come sinto being, the world may end. According to the Mayans it happens in 2012.

I also love , I suicided my spouse into your city! Now I hate you forever! Then there is the Computer: "I hear you have children, want to get them married?" Player : "Sure, sounds good" Computer : "What? Why would I allow a child of mine to marry a degenerate ape like your child? Die in a pit fool!" Player : "@#$&*@#$%^@#$%*@#^$!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

You need to rush the tech tree that increases your cities capabilities (the first one, can't remember the name) and the military tree. You need to get squads of units quickly. Don't expect champions to be able to do anything until you have high end gear on them. Once you have small squads to defend your cities you can branch out for a few levels of magic and adventure. The first two trees I mention are by fr more important than the oth

Interesting idea but it may limit people a bit too much. I don't want to force people who want to spam cities not to. I just want not spamming and spamming to have similar levels of power while remaining very different play styles with various strengths and weaknesses very different from the other method. Perhaps cities which were the homes of royal family members are found should get bonuses due to increased happiness and productivity of it's people. Unless of cou

Dark Knight, while I agree that anyone who commits a crime should accept the possibility of punishment for that crime your argument seems a bit silly to me. As far as I can tell you are saying that no one should argue about the severity of a punishment if they have ever committed a crime. I suppose you think that no one who has committed such a horrendous crime as going a mile over the speed limit (I am sure you would never do such

You can build a city with nothing near by now and have it be profitable. You can use gardens to generate food and citizens generate gold. You can use workshops to get materials. Really resources are much more common because they can be created freely in any city. I generally have way more research of both kinds now as well as larger armies and more gold without spamming cities.

Currently you don't need much more than a good source of food to get started and you are always given a farm. You can make more or less everything in your cities. The overland tiles are just bonuses.

Unless things have changed, your single units will have a 0% chance to damage a stack of units due to their high armor values. Though honestly end of semester tests, finals, life means i haven't played much in months so that may have been fixed eons ago.

Yeah i always disband lower armies and make new grouped ones. Not letting us regroup units is like making us manually upgrade each house after a new house tech. They don't do one, why the other?

Ok, I think bashing the OP here was kinda silly. He wasn't overly aggressive, all he did was mention the issues he had and that he is very unhappy about it. I am willing to wait for updates to fix things, but honestly, you guys shouldn't expect everyone to feel the same way. Some people don't want to wait months for their investment in a game to pay off. He is right that it is lame to wait months for a game to become stable only to still run into crashes. It wasn

It is true that it makes very little sense that when an army loses a unit, it is that way forever. Guess it is impossible to train replacements. You have to scrap the whole group and start over.

yeah, i hated it till i realized i could set the auto-calc threshhold to never trigger. Got sick of constantly needing to load after losing what should have been auto-wins and were when i loaded and played them myself. I think you can only auto resolve if your armor is so much better than their attack that you can not be damaged by their units. Then you may win most of the time.
