Here's the blog that brings it up: http://rampantgames.com/blog/?p=5662#comment-249182 And here's the video: Typical teaser announcement: very little info, and a mockup of monsters that's not bad. Remains to be seen how UbiSoft treats this o

If I choose the Spearmen's ability to Impale, and there is at least one other member of my forces next to me within harming distance of an enemy, they swarm, instead. (This is with proper targets available for impalement.)

I know some people who like to play dress up as generic lords and ladies from the European Renaissance. A few show off archery skills. A few engage in sword fights. The fact that most of their ancestors (and yours, and mine) were probably farmers, day laborers, or at best urban members in craft guilds doesn't invade that Disney-esque wishful thinking. But that's what I'm asking you to do, here. To choose between your situation now, and accepting a position a
Mine was doing that as well, it was due to Steam snycing my saves to its cloud storage. After I turned it off I have not had any problems. That may or may not be the problem the rest of you are having, so I am just throwing that out there in case it might help.
It continues after Steam syncs.

This is one we've never determined, and I'm as mystified as ever about it. I've seen AI factions zoom ahead seemingly without any forces, settlements, or techs. I've built one-of-a-kind buildings, and gotten nothing for it, but built a spearmen unit, and picked up a point or two. Does anybody have any idea what contributes to that important number that tells you how you're doing relative to other players?
I have tested a fight with 1 hero and then with 2 heroes. with one hero and 2 units the hero received 32 exp. with 2 heroes and 2 units the heroes received 18 points each. that was again with the general bonus as the only exp bonus
Thanks. This contradicts what some players were rumoring around earlier, but there's no test like actually digging up the numbers yourself. :)
There an amount of xp determined by the monster strength and your party strength - call it x. If you have no heroes, each unit gets x/2, and henchmen get x each. If you have one hero, that hero gets x, henchmen get x each, and non hero units get x/2 If you have more than one hero, the heroes and henchmen get x/(number of heroes), and non hero units get x/((number of heroes)) The
Another posters was cool enough to isolate the reason its inconsistent. If you already have the unit selected it doesn't move to them. If you don't have the unit selected it centers the camera on them correctly. We are working on a fix.
Derek, if I understand you correctly, this is somewhat different. If I'm centered on a unit then click on a city, the screen's focus shifts

I've noticed several times that the LH app doesn't close upon exiting Steam. Trying to launch LH brings up a Steam message to that effect. I have to run the task manager to close it, allow Steam to synchronize, and then launch it again.

I'm finding that sometimes clicking on a stack portrait on the left side of the screen doesn't jump to that stack. It never appears to affect settlements--only stacks. Goes away after a turn, then comes back several turns later.

I got the skeletons event, and took my small stack to attack two of them. As soon as I entered combat the game slowed to a crawl, but I continued playing. After taking out the first skeleton, Bannon Heighsley cast Slow on the second (appropriately enough). Summoned wolves had a turn, then my sand golem, then Bannon, again...and again...and again. All in all, he had six turns in a row, all with swarm. When combat finished, the game was still going very slowly, so I saved

Another possibility for me would be Mozart. Not because he was a "great" composer (whatever great is defined as; the musical greats first appeared as a 19th century German musicological term to foster a particular agenda), but because he was an omnivorous absorber of music regardless of style and period. He was open to enjoying and learning from music composed 75 years before him--very rare for his time. I would like to spend that hour playing short excerpts of everything from 15th century to

On 4: what level of difficulty are you setting for your opponents? The higher it is, the more resources they have, and the disparity between what's theirs and what's yours makes you less attractive as a potential friend.

Had this happen twice, on a huge map, with three players. (Also running WinXP, 32-bit, and yes, I'm getting a new computer, soon.) Double-clicked on a pack drake, and got a BSoD. Did it again; same thing. Third time around was strange: didn't get a CTD, but after the popup screen of the pack drake, the main map was largely black, with a few white bursts of light.

During combat, Arissa's portrait didn't show up when it was her turn--only the background image appeared. The same happened when I split her off from my sovereign, and she had her own army. No image of her; just the backdrop. Might as well rename her The Invisible Woman. ;)

When I received the popup screen about "legendary heroes" now coming to join me, the game slowed down dramatically. This continued through the process of selecting one of the two, and subsequently. I tried returning to the main menu and reloading, which didn't work. Will be trying to reload from Windows, and see if that helps.

I've also got Stardock-based FE and Steam-based LH. There's no problem. LH knows to look for the FE files, and keeps track of them. FE: LH is in my Steam listing, and should be in yours. However, if you haven't been updating FE, you may have issues. I can't say, since I update regularly. EDIT: I stand corrected by Heavenfall. Apparently, the two installations are mutually exclusive.

Steam later informed me that it was auto-installing a new final version of its own beta, at the same time I was downloading LH. It just didn't show the d
