Oh yeah, here's some karma. I, personally, am torn on the program. I like the idea of tabbed windows, but, call me petty, but I don't like the tab on top of the windows. It bothers me. But, I'm OCD with my computer (I can't have more than 3 or 4 icons on the desktop, despite the 1080p resolution. I also HATE seeing anything in the recycle bin).

Gee Doc, you must be psychic My girlfriend was just saying like two days ago how she wanted all of her windows to be tabable (is that even a word?) Thanks for the heads up!

Is that you Jon?
Sorry for the lack of posts in a while. My video card fried on me, and really, my interest in the game has dropped dramatically. I'm not quite sure what did it, but I'm lacking the interest to do anything further. Hopefully once 1.2 comes out, I will touch up a couple of things that need it to keep with the newest version. As far as the quests still showing up, I noticed this happening with the barrage of 1.19 patches. I'll hopefully have it resolved once 1.
I've been seeing this for a few versions now, and have told Cari about it (the icons for group exp, size). It happens when you add enough new designs to create another row. The icons don't disappear, they are shifted down quite a bit.
DX error: invalid call, crashed while trying to alt-tab back into the game after tabbing out to save a screen shot. No zip file was generated.
Why are you going out of the game to save a screenshot? You know if you hit Print Screen, the game automagically puts the screenshot in the Screenshot folder in my docs/my games/elemental?
Quoting CariElf, reply 17 It doesn't make a difference what drive Elemental is installed on. I'm asking you to look in you program data folder, which is a system folder on the same directory as windows is installed. If you can't see it on that drive, it's because it's hidden. Searches also exclude system and hidden folders by default. Also, once you are in the proper directory, check to make sure that the
Or, if you're near a Walmart, I know a couple people have picked it up for $20 there...
The only time I ever receive that message is when I need to update Impulse. As soon as I do that, Elemental runs fine.

OOM on 1.19e. Large map with mods, and 7 other AI. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8949112/3/Elemental1_19e-2011-03-03T23-31-16-894.zip
I have also noticed this myself.
I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that's what the spell sub classes was for. So they can tell the AI how to use the spells. For instance, the Rest ability has the subclass_heal ...subclass. So, I don't imagine it would take much to tell the AI to only use the heal abilities/spells when you need to restore hitpoints. Remember, they just added the tags in, they haven't done anything with them yet in regards to the AI. With the subclass tags, I can see the AI being pretty damn good wi
Uploaded version 0.6 - Added third tier armor sets for all 10 factions - Added third tier weapon sets for all 10 factions - Updated many icons to better fit the armor, however, some still need updating. I'll do a more thorough sweep once all 5 sets are done. To check out what the sets look like, check out the pics from the links in the OP. I've added that faction's most powerful weapon at that tier. <
Ouch! That new slag looks painful! Never noticed it before, but all the skaths look painful to ride!
-OOM errors (which I'm assuming will be fixed) They're mostly fixed already.
Uhh...in what dilusional world are you speaking of? I've gotten more OOM errors with the 1.19 series of betas than I have since I originally bought the game (July during beta 3).
Uploaded version 0.52 - Added updated weapons abilities to sovereign's weapons
Uploaded version 0.51 - Changed war staff to war spear (steel spear) for Altar - Changed war staff to war spear (heavy spear) for Resoln - Added fallen modeltypes so, if running ACP, you can equip the fallen heros (note: if playing as a kingdom, the armor will probably clip a bit, as the fallen races are larger)
Uploaded version 0.5 - Fixed problem with Yithril, and Gilden shields not showing up - Added kingdommale and female unittypes to armor so champs can now be equipped (human champs right now, will get an update to the acp guys soon) - Added sovereign modeltypes to armor list for factions (so the sov can equip its faction's armor. - Slightly colorized weapons to suit each faction - All 10 factions now have up to tier II armo
1. Not sure about that one. Spells should go up to level 5. 2. You can rush all the spell levels if you want to (although researching the next level takes longer than researching that level's spells), and you can still research the lower level spells. 3. I believe you have to use magic there. Also, note that when you have a squad, although it shows a combined attack total, they don't actually use that value (each unit rolls for it's own attack val
Go to the shop with the appropriate person. Most of the empire factions' units are physically larger in size. So, the kingdom armor won't fit on them, and likewise, the fallen armor looks off on kingdoms (janusk and all the vanilla champions are the same body size as kingdoms). However, sometimes the kingdom types can wear the fallen armor, just go to the shop with them directly. EDIT: The shop only seems to load what's appropriate for the first person who enters
Quoting impinc, reply 51Curious for some feedback here. Do you think the Sovereigns should start with the unique armor and weapons, or should you have to research through the tree to get them? If so, should they just be in the normal warfare tech tree, or do we dip into other tech trees? Is there a way to force cross-tree requirements (i.e. need level 5 in civ and level 2 in warfare)? Jus
