I think they must have had some last-minute hitches.

I think they were a little annoyed when I announced they released 0.76 early. ;-) =)
I was thinking of games bought directly from Stardock that did not have a Steam requirement (if there are any). I do hope that Fallen Enchantress and other Elemental releases don't require steam, although I wouldn't mind if they could be bought from the Steam store without Steamworks, as one of several choices, as well as buying directly from Stardock. Although I do suspect that Elemental games in the future might require Steam with Steamworks even if bought di
Of course it would be irrelevant in that case. But why would you be trying to prevent kiting from archers that can't do any damage? There will always be some archer stacks that *can* do damage, and obviously more shots means higher overall damage. But it looks like in 0.85 that they are going to try limited quivers. Not sure what I think about that.
Maybe Stardock could start a system for those with poor internet connection to make a DVD with all the latest updates on it, and even if there was a cost for postage, some may be thankful that they can get a physical copy. It could be like the concept of the latest patch discs that Stardock was going to make for the first Elemental game could be used for the second Elemental game. Maybe there could be a postage charge upon buying the game and getting sent by mail the install
It could be, for experience of the new unit, and the amount of building turns (as percentage of new unit): New Experience = (Original Size/New Size) x Old Experience Training Time = (Original Size/New Size) x Normal Training Time for new unit of bigger size which would take care of the new units needing training, and also starting with no experience. I don't think they should be also able to upgrade equipment at the same time though. I
Actually it does affect kiting, as you can get further away *and* release a shot in the same turn. More shots for the same number of turns.
Yes, I think it would be better if units always got full experience and champions had it divided between them. But I don't think it will be changed from what it is for this next patch.
Well, that would explain why there's the odd repeated point, then. ;-) =)
You do make some good points.
Yeah, me too.
How about a mid range spell that removes raze barrenness in a certain radius? I find I am almost always razing a number of AI cities because they could have picked a much better central tile. I think there needs to be some way to remove raze barrenness from an area, or alternatively there needs to be way more AI prioritization for good (or decent) central tiles for cities.
And any special plans for the Spell of Mastery? ;-)
These are the cookies that keep regenerating in my Pale Moon 32-bit 9.2 Portable: Just how do I stomp them permanently? I don't think they are the most serious type of threat, but I don't want these cookies to keep mining my information and regenerating when I specifically delete them or even block the domain! Note I don't think they are Flash cookies, as they appear in the browser an
RALLY RALLY RALLY RALLY RALLY! Oh no, I hope I haven't started something here... ;-) :P Anyway I agree with us getting rally points, or at least be able to set up our stacks to use the AI rally point system for our armies.
I don't get it. Has the Stardock forums times in posts actually reverted to Stardock time as opposed to the time in your timezone?
I didn't even log out, and had no problems. =) The browser wasn't on when the forum update happened, though. But I didn't have to log back in or clear my cookies. Although I did have "Allow for session" on in my Pale Moon 9.1 Portable 32-bit browser.
Yeah truly, this is one area where the greed for making money for doing nothing at all just makes you want to say "@#$%^$*". Shouldn't user pays mean like "paying an equivalent amount of money for an equivalent service"??? Actually I think we should start a world movement against this. It's only in inaction that greedbags like these can thrive.
You could make it so that Championless picked up items are always transported to the vault, and Champions can pay mana (like in AoW) to transfer items between any allied champion or sovereign, based on distance and power of the transported item. Note I am not necessarily saying that it should also allow trade between allies, though that obviously is a possibility especially if FE gets multiplayer. =) ;-)
Yeah. PS: All un-avatar-ed Stardockians are now X-Files style aliens. ;-)
Brad, please give us the best AI you've got for us to test it before you consider toning it down!
Hey, Frogboy, it's 2012 you know! Get with the times! ;-) :P
I agree. Devs, what do ya think? ;-)
