In Australia I think any donation over $AU11,500 needs to be disclosed via the tax act. The idea that you could spend millions or billions and have it kept secret is patently ludicrous (yet still possible unfortunately).

Weren't shards meant to be special?
There was a bug that overwrote a previous spell that hasn't been cast yet with the new spell (in other words you couldn't have two spells on the same side charging up at once). That is apparently fixed in the internal beta.
Well, you have some good points. I was just raising the way Civ4 did it, with roads that were built manually by a worker unit.
Sometimes you need to make compromises for gameplay, not realism-based reasons. And I'm not saying you can't use the enemy roads, just that you will pay normal movement costs for them. If you want a realism-based reason, you could say that you are extra cautious when walking on an enemy road, because of the possibility of an ambush. Btw: what if Assassins or fast scouts could do ambushes in their friendly territory in FE? Then there really *would* be a gameplay
Although totally random spells can make MP a bit unbalanced (for example if one player gets access to good healing spells and another doesn't). Apart from providing the ability to gain a specific spell via a stuck, hidden unit in a special place, there is no way to ensure that certain spells will always be available for all sides. Maybe the game should use the same random selection of spells for all players? So all players would have the same handicap in a given game?</p
Good points Tasunke.
If you want to have a city build zoom option, have a option (maybe keyboard combination?) to turn it off if it doesn't turn off by itself.
I think that would be a simple way of reminding everyone that the base beta installation needs to be updated by the latest patch, without having to have people come to the forums to realise they are not running the latest version (and to also prevent people writing outdated bug reports and feedback). Would you be able to do this?
There is only one beta install, 0.75. To get to the latest version you need to download the latest "Beta Update" from the Stardock page and run it to update the base "Full Beta" installation.
Although the Cloud Walk spell definitely needs to be addressed.
Yes, there is a bug where if you can't target an enemy, WHILE ALSO not targeting a friendly, you game gets stuck. You really should be able to have friendly fire.
Everyone is. ;-)
Which is a similar but subtly different take on the same theme. ;-)
I think it sometimes just has problems connecting. I think it goes to connect to the servers every time it starts up.
If you can get a good fairly balanced and filled in path trait list with a middle beta version, there might be even a chance the devs will use it. I hope so! (pretty much all the work would have been done! =))
Not as much territory because they aren't as violent and power-hungry? ;-)
It may well be something that needs to be considered - scaling dodge with level (via dexterity), and scaling spell resistance with level.
I don't mind them copying designs, I can imagine that's a feature, but they should always have to use their own race (with its own stats) rather than the race the unit was designed for. Or maybe easier, restrict the unit designs that can be used based on the race that created it.
Me too. =)
Which is a good suggestion.
And it's much easier to get around with Cloud Walk anyway. ;-)
Didn't it used to be Czechoslovakia or something?
When you win, it says that you have blocked the access to mana of all the other channelers, and they have no choice but to submit. Or somesuch. ;-)
Definitely. With the Spell of Mastery, all players should be informed that you have started casting it, and maybe even given the area where it is being cast. And you should definitely know how many turns are left to complete it.
