What advantages are there to researching Mining etc.? Do you get increased production, or is it the case that it only matters what items you can research that require the resource to make?

Have you turned off the particle effects? Apparently there is a bug Frogboy found that causes all of them to run all the time.

Yeah, considering that groups multiply attack (even if they *do* reduce with damage done to them) it's hard to level up a champion when fighting armies or monsters, although a Sovereign like Procipinee with a few free buffs and Shadow Wargs can be quite strong.

Get all the stuff you need from it to another hard disk as soon as you can, so you don't lose it. Other than that, it does sound like there's a serious problem with your system.

Yes, I would love it if mutual exclusivity was in. Also, the ability to have multiple prerequisites and require ALL of them to be satisfied to get the tech, trait, quest whatever would be great too! (Currently only one prerequisite is required.)
