I agree with Reply #3, and I think it would be well worth implementing.

Yeah, I'm wondering too why you are in such a hurry to show it to the critics... uhh, I mean press. What happens if you show an incomplete version (which it is) and then no-one even looks at FE as a complete game, even if has promise now? Don't you want to blow people away with how fantastic the "complete" game is? You might lose that chance if people start saying negative things about the incomplete version. And what if a particularly narky member of the pre

It should be like in HOMM (at least 2 and 3): Each unit makes a check for resistance when a mass spell is cast, and the ones that succeed don't get the spell cast on them.
Lots of good ideas here! I'm not sure you can change champion incapacitation times, you will need to see if that's possible currently.
I think I'll give that a [e digicons]k1[/e] .
I agree with you tjashen.
Do I notice just a hint of sarcasm there? ;-) :P
[e digicons]k1[/e] for your mod!
Well, they'd be pretty useless by then, because the injuries can be quite debilitating now. Maybe the champion should die after getting all the injuries and then getting one more. Just how many injuries are there in 0.86? About the only thing you can do for a champion that has all the injuries is put them in the back line and hope for a Restoration potion, in this case it would be supremely useful as it would remove 6 or more injuries!
Maybe you could decrease accuracy of archer units by a relatively significant amount who move and shoot on the same turn, instead of giving defense to all units before they move?
Interesting ideas, tjashen.
Good idea.
Cliche no 1,000,001 but oh so true: Oh how the mighty have fallen.
I agree. It is hardly a bonus if you have to spend many turns afterwards before you get *any* advantage. I think all the choices should be unique and worth getting, and maybe even grow with further level ups. And obviously higher level-ups should have better bonuses. But even the L2 bonus should come immediately, and help to specialise the city.
Yeah, I wasn't expecting it in the beta. But my previous comment still stands. =)
It doesn't have the Constitution stat in Frogboy's 0.87 video. Does that mean that Constitution is getting the boot?
Maybe Wildlands or Monsters and Ruffians could form minor factions! =) That would be cool (and also much suggested ;-)).
Although he might be referring to the "Fallen Enchantress 0.87" title of the video too. =) Btw: in seanw3's "Waiting For The Next Beta" Mod the buildings take a lot more production to build, so it's *definitely* an advantage to have at least 4 materials.
I would like to be remembered fondly (but hopefully utilized carefully and not to die!), and not be incompacitated with a cracked skull, broken leg, hallucinations, fleshy wound (or whatever that one's called now ;-)) and whatever else that's bad. But if I had a built-in "die permanently only if no serious injuries would be inflicted by dieing" meter, so as long as I got "just a scratch" or "missing ear" (although I'm not sure if I like the missing ear :P) from dying I would
But I am quietly hopeful (maybe even quietly optimistic ;-)) that we'll get quite a good campaign this time. =)
Oh no! Looks like they get a scratch, a cracked skull, broken leg or hallucinations! ;-) =) Funny, if I was in their situation, I probably would have just died. ;-)
Well, this is something that the monitor-producing industry WILL have to address, if it wants to keep selling monitors. Having NEWER monitors worse than old monitors in some respects is something that will eventually not be tolerated.
This is a very interesting viewpoint, and I largely agree with it!
Or rushing should only give the percentage of building/training that has normally happened (ie. not include the last bit or a lot that is "rushed").
