You actually currently need only to have started construction of all four towers currently. So I think it is possible currently to start constructing the Towers in 4 different cities and then start to cast the spell (as long as you continue building). This is definitely something that needs to be fixed. And I'm sure the Spell of Making victory will be getting some changes in the final betas. :)

While cool, that particular ability would be a little unbalancing. ;-)
It's for modders, but it also benefits players. :)
Another vote for hotseat. If they are going to the trouble of putting in multiplayer, then I think it makes a great deal of sense to have local multiplayer too. With a "changing players" screen between players like other hotseat games (so others don't see your screen).
See the save (Stormworld 1.3b mod active, AND TerrainTypes having rough terrain cost (except rivers) equalling 1.5 units): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8710134/AutoSave.EleSav Even though it is in a mod, I'm pretty sure I have had remote hexes cast early in the non-modded game too. I think it should be that City Hexes can't be cast on ANY city that belongs to someone the caster's side is not at war with
Yes, I would have to say I agree with this.
And it seems that they don't use the decimal point, just "10" for 1 and "20" for 2. I replaced Hills, Swamp and Forest with "15". Isn't it interesting that there are passability allowances for air, ocean and chasm units?
Just as a pointer, is there a simple way to change all movement on rough terrain to 1.5?
It is better not to load games from within the game currently. I have suggested to the devs to have no loading or new games from within the game, but they haven't taken this idea up so far. If your game is using lots of memory without loading from within the game, then that definitely needs to be addressed.
That reference was for the devs. But would you consider making rough terrain cost 1.5 movement points to see how it goes? I think one action per turn is not enough at any stage of the game for any terrain.
I think the term "wallet rapists" is offensive to those who have been raped. You have the choice not to buy and not to use games you don't support, so why don't you exercise self-control and just choose not to play the game at all?
Right now, with just 1 increase in movement due to Tireless March, AI heroes on higher difficulties move TWICE as fast as non-Master Scouts sides on rough terrain. And if there are three units with Tireless March (although I would prefer the devs would make Tireless March not stack) then AI heroes move at TRIPLE speed. What I'm suggesting is that a movement onto or attacking an army on rough terrain without Master Scouts would cost 1.5 move points, and movement onto or attacki
In that case, you'd need to make sure that any items that can't be used in battle can't be picked by the random algorithm. Also, if you were to do that, then the backpack would only be worth 1 point in the Sov creation.
Yes, they're much better to sell than they are to use.
Maybe because it is no retaliation? I agree, they can normally do a lot more damage with a melee attack than throwing knives.
As much as I hate to admit it, the Backpack of Many Things is OP, whether you get it as a starting item or as loot. =) All you need is regeneration greater or equal to the damage done to you, and either a weapon that doesn't get regeneration, or a sword and fighting against a no retaliation weapon, and you can let yourself get hit as much as you want to get infinite items. Is it possible to either a) limit the number of items you can find in one battle (perhaps 3) or b) only g
If you select Shieldwall for a Henchmen, you can choose Shieldwall again if you choose Path of the Defender. I think that's why Strength can show up twice if a Sov starts with it. PS: I'm pretty sure the AI, no matter the difficulty, always gets extra traits. Even if it doesn't show up on the Opponents screen, I think it still gets it after starting a new game from within a game, and I suspect it gets them even if it's the first game you started after loadi
Deleted.
I read your other post, and I largely agree with it. I hope Stardock does some of it for Beta 4 or 5.
The one where you first defeat a troll on the quest location, then you get the reward when moving on the quest location, then a fight is triggered against the tough bandit, bear, Ritualist (or whatever they are called) and the guy who heals himself with poison damage all the time, you get the reward just for visiting the quest location, even if you lose the spawned battle.
I play different difficulties (Challenging and Insane). What would be a good "against the world" type of race?
What difficulty level do you recommend when starting to play your mod?
So Frogboy, did it destroy "your" life? ;-) [e digicons]:P[/e]
I agree with the larger map (and shouldn't be too hard to implement). And overpower is worth considering too. =)
Yeah, you don't know whether southwest means southwest of your explored territory, or southwest of the map. And anyway, a general direction doesn't help when you have huge numbers of outposts. ;-)
