Oh, so you were just making a general comment about how a lot of college graduates specifically have no job experience! Well that's different. I was thinking (and think a lot of others in this thread though this too) that you were saying most young people were coming to you with no job experience. So your comment was more that "a lot of college graduates haven't had any job experience" rather than "a lot of young people haven't any job experience". Btw: d
Actually, all Kingdom players use the Tower of Dominion. I haven't seen the Beacon of Hope in FE Beta. =)
Or the Escape scroll which you can use (should really send you to capital as it says but it doesn't in 0.77, and also uses mana which it shouldn't).
The advantage of stronger pre-built militia is that they protect the city, but can't be used to attack other cities.
Sometimes the crash zip is not created, that is true. But a lot of info can be gained from the debug.err usually so still submit that if you've got it. =)
More great ideas. [e digicons]k1[/e] Derek, please take notice of them! =)
Some good points here.
In reply to Barrynor, I totally agree, but that doesn't mean that people who keep trying in the conventional market, but get disillusioned after years, are lazy. Just that they don't look that good with employers.
But what can you say if you've been actively looking for work and everyone has said no, do you say "I'm sorry, I've been looking for work for ages, but no-one has offered me a job." Doesn't make you look very good does it? Even if you have tried you darndest to get a job. The fact is job-hunting is an unequal game. Nearly all the cards are with the employer, and some prospective employees just get sick of being handed the Joker all the time. The b
Yes, you make some good points mastroego.
Although it depends on whether there are enough applicants for positions. If you have enough suitable applicants, you don't need to change your methodology. But if you are finding you just don't have enough "suitable applicants", it is much better to make the best with what you've got, and if that means having trial periods for particular selected applicants, then you really need to bite the bullet and give that a few decent tries.
Excellent ideas. [e digicons]k1[/e]
It's easy to say that young people are lazy. But the funny thing about the human race is... anything that happens on a significant enough scale has a germ of a reason behind it. We are not totally logical, but neither are we totally illogical. I believe most people want to get on in this world. The truth is that a lot of societies make this very hard. If you can think without the box, as Skarny came up with, you just may find some very hard-working and loyal
What option do you choose at the menu for a custom battle?
You know one of the most over-used words with regards to jobs? Overqualified.
In one of the next betas, make it possible to set up custom battles, like in the fheroes2 mod's Battle Only mode. Then download certain battle configurations (including tactical battle map) to the custom battle facility, and automatically send the results of these battles to you (but make sure players know). Anyway, just a thought. In fheroes2 Battle Only mode you can customize the armies of both sides, and then either play against a human or the computer. The Ba
I strongly support all this. Derek, please implement those extra triggers! Unless it requires rewriting the whole game (which I strongly doubt) then it would be quite a small investment of time and resources for a huge gain.
Was there enough room in your city? They can only fit nine non-militia units.
Policy laundering at its finest.
Maybe, it has been mentioned, but not necessarily on a bug report of its own. You'll have to ask Derek whether it's intentional.
Yikes, the greedy want ever more power don't they? What does Anti-Counterfeiting have to do with generic medicines and intellectual property? Why don't they just make a "You're Totally Happy and You Agree With Everything We Do" Act. :-(
No. Only one spell per side can be charged up currently in tactical combat. If you cast another spell, either the current spell is wasted or the earlier spells are wasted (I think it is the latter). So unless they change that mechanic, Fireball and Blizzard are broken, or if a Counterspell is available, totally useless.
I totally agree. How is the town producing all these items if it can only produce 5-10 gildar per turn?
Although that would not be possible currently, as I think every spell you cast that requires casting time replaces the one that has come before. I don't think there is currently a possibility to "start casting a spell with multiple casters to prevent one spell from being countered". Basically, even with the extra turns required, Fireball and Blizzard are broken with current game mechanics. You shouldn't get extra damage from an early game spell with no extra research
