i also like different "value" options on the same lvl, for example lvl xy you can now equip rather a bastard sword, a pike, a battle hammer, a 2h axe or a flail but non is better then the oter they are all lets say lvl 4 weapons that have different bonus and malus e.g. bastard sword gives you +4 att +1/2 speed a pike gives you +3 att +1def -1/2 speed and a bonus against mounted troops a hammer gives you + 3 attack and a chance to ignore enemy defense a 2h axe c

for example - the following examples can all be considered "full plate armor" but look all very different, also the helmets - i could find 100 more examples... http://www.kismeta.com/diGrasse/Costume/armorhussar4.jpg http://i.somethingawful.com/u/petey/comedygoldmine/2009/superweapons/armor.jpg <

yeah i was thinking of a list, but its kind of difficult to describe different artstyles...i would rather have to draw it or look for picutes... i not only want 1 longsword but several different looking options for it...as for every other weapon, armor, helmets etc... as for helmets its pretty simple, take a base helmet and different options for feathers, visors, horns, or other kind of staff you can add to the helmets that gives you a lot of opions...

there should be (or be optional in the menu) a minimum number of certain land typer per map... in my case of a medium map - there was 1 single min on the whole map, this severly limits the troop development possibilities depending on where posseses the mine and is a severe drawback for everybody else - i think this is a bit less important for the sightseeing or food landparts, but mines are pretty crucial in that context, so a better allocation would be good

i dont know to what extent things will changes for the final game... but i'd like to have more options to design / customize my troops - not necessarily options that actually differ in values but just look... right now there are very few design options for clothing (which look all pretty much the same), non for armor (except the different armor levels) and hardly any for weapons... i'd like to have at least 5 options per armor class, including the possibility to change colour

sometimes when i have to pay heroes or cities and it should subtract a number x of gildar from my fortune, it subtracts a much higher number - for example, i had 780 gildar and hired a hero for 690 gildar - and suddenly i am -1500 gildar... that happens all the time when paying heroes or building cities...

Oh Captain My Captain *nervously tapping with my feet on the ground, while waiting in front of the pc for the magic too happen* i still think the some of the buildings could be a bit more unique and distinct...moreover some more spacing between the buildings would help letting the city look like a real city (i am therefore not sure what i'd prefer, a city that looks less realistic/beautiful but shows all buildings in detail, or one that looks better but does not
The way things look and are animated are going to get a lot of polishing (particularly fighting and spell related) between now and release.
i'd love to see some great, funny, surprising animations that are not so 0815 (dawn of war being a good example for good animations imo)

i would prefer to see some mor distinct races that serve as default models for changes (and make changes easier) or a lot of customizable options regarding traditional fantasy races that do not require modding - not everybody is a modder by heart...(things like pointy ears you can add or stuff like that)

i think it was claimed that updates usually happen on thursday which would mean tomorrow...but i don't know it that means 8am or somewhen during the day...

i think the devs said that using terrain will have influence on the battle (so attacking from a hightend position etc.) - is it also beneficial to attack the back / flanks of enemies - i think this would immensly increase tactical options, especially if troop-units (grouped) can not simply turn from one moment to another (a true regiment consisting of several 100 soldiers couldnt do that either)...?

as you said "some sort" - question is which sort of...will you only be able to change colours and hair cuts or also size, body form, use "non traditional outfits" such as barbarian outfits, undead-ripped outfits, chaotic-evil-dark outfits etc. etc... honestly, i think lookwise the current races are too similar - i'd prefer less but more distinc races that serve as "basis" for future modification - therefore i'd like a human race, some sort of undead-chaotic-darkelf-evil race, some sor

not a bad idea...the combat rating is abit missleading the way it is...on the other hand i also find it realistic that even 50 peons with spears can not really become dangerous to a 30 feet tall dragon because they can simply not harm his thick skin...

i am really looking forward that they implement special skills, attack type, resistances, status etc. etc. to give the battle much more tactical depth.... i would really like the battles to be like tabletop game battles (complexity wise)
