productive land should be allocated betther

in this case mine

there should be (or be optional in the menu) a minimum number of certain land typer per map... in my case of a medium map - there was 1 single min on the whole map, this severly limits the troop development possibilities depending on where posseses the mine and is a severe drawback for everybody else - i think this is a bit less important for the sightseeing or food landparts, but mines are pretty crucial in that context, so a better allocation would be good

I'm pretty sure this is on purpose.  Limiting what resources you have available forces you to adapt to different strategies.  Right now it seems overly limited because there aren't any other strategies, such as magic, you can use.

yeah thats right... on the other hand, it really sucks if you prepare a race/sovereign for a heavy army gameplay and go low on the magic site while customizing and then you end up on the part of the map where no mine is...i just think there should be a minium amount of mines, something like 30% less then number of total players is minium (e.g. 3 players minimum 2 mines, 6 players, minimum 4 mines etc...)

I think the ressouce placement needs still some tweaking.

I may game I wandered for 12 turns with out seeing any resources.

Then finding a shard and saying cool...let's start city building...

in the next 2 turns I found 2 bee hive, fertile land, 2 addi. shards 2 wild horses all placed very tightly to each other...

This was not good balanced.
