it says building a city costs me 100 gildar - but every time i build a city after the first, it costs me way more, usually 300-500 gildar and then im suddenly - several hundred gildar...
do units have unique skills in the game that only they have? that would be a nice addition like - dragon salyer unit from race xy gets bonus against dragons, paladin unit from ab gets protection against unholy or general magic, barbarian axe thrower unit has a melee and throwing attack, also some tactical unique skills would be great like: xy unit boosts moral of other units fighting not more then 2 tiles away, abc unit altough has a base speed of 1 can move 2 fields when they can attack an e
i know there is a skill "organized" which lets all units move at the sovereign speed (dont know if that works for quest units too) but i thinks its bad if there are certain sovereign skills/attributes that are kind of a must have from the beginning
cause with 1, it just extremely slows the game without creating any value... i think setting the base speed to 2 would improve the flow
yeah, thats exaclty it like on the screenshot - happens quite often here
yeah, but also based on the existing buildings, so limited options...moreover, this will take very very long...i mean, why to even have more then 2 different races if there are no more differences...?
not sure about that...and regarding the "any unit you want"...well yeah but the options seem to be very limited at least for now...nevertheless it would be nice if there were some unique units for every race with a unique look and unique special skills (or at least unique special skills for that races units that you could also implement in your own created units)
- make some races naturally dislike other (diplomacy etc.) - every race should have specific units that only that race can create, maybe even specific buildings (with certain bonuses) - more differentiation and customization possibilities regarding look of units, buildings, cities - different races maybe even have a different ki and behaviour (very aggressive/expanding, or defensive for themselves etc.) - maybe even different items in shops for different races,
i assume there will be more quests in the game then the current ones slaughtering rats and escorting daughters/sons...nevertheless these "quests" feel very repetitive and very boring... and they always takes so long to complete cause you need to run from one side of the map to the other...especially annoying if you escort a guy that limits your speed to 1...hopefully sd will come up with some more innovation regarding that matter...right now its just boring...sorry...
imo that would be minimum for a game that claims to offer customization and that has a rather low graphical performance (considering nowadays standards)...they could also offer that as a dlc at least (for free of course)
completely agree...there is not enough variance to distinct races / units / cities from another that are on the same level... i would prefer anyway if they kept "traditional" fantasy races and made them more distinct this way...currently everything is kind of the same (maybe thats just in the beta)... its kind of contradictory if you want people to be able to customize there sovereign and their troops and make everything customizable etc. but then on the other hand limit the customizing optio
will this happen within the beta or only after release? since its not specified in the beta status list
as far as i can remember 0/0 or maybe 1/0 0/1, very low at least...
is there only one set of graphics for the cities/buildings etc. of the different races? or will there be in the end game two different, one for the humans, one for the fallen ones? even if the second is true, i think this is pretty poor... it would be much better if every race has distinct graphics, also for cities, buidlings etc... this would create a much more unique feel to the race...this way, except the minor bonus it doesnt really matter which race to choose [e digicons]:'([/e]
that happens quite often, suddenly the sovereign icon is on one tile, but you cant click it cause the for the game it is on a tile next to it - if you click there you can normaly select and move the sovereign - he is simply shown on a wrong tile... this usually resolves by building some kind of group with other units
with my 1 sovereign i attacked another sovereing who was travelling with 5 group-members - i killed him and 2 of his member s and won - for some reason 3 of his adventure members survived and became neutral again... i then attacked them again the next turn - every time i did that (reloaded several time) the game crashes...
same problem for me...played the game today the very first time for 2hours and had countless bugs, this one included...
aaaaah ok...thx
thats the problem...i dont have a my game tab...only my software...
hi, i just bought the game for the beta access.... i succesfully downloaded impulse and registered the game BUT after registration of the key, i dont get any option for downloading the game...?
