i think ridicoulos means extremely heavy... and yes food is the most scarce issue in the beginning...that lets you look around for the best food spots... that can make the game very interesting or very annoying cause you spend lots of turns looking for food and cant develop your cities...

and one more thing, i strongly suggest some sort of upkeep cost for spells and summonings - my suggestion wheter the mana giving "things" give more mana that you can splitt up onto mana pool/spells or studying (similar to mom but just with 2 pools) OR that they give 2 different kind of manas from the start - a study type and a summoning upkeep type... of course you could also use other ressources for the upkeep... but i would like such a option WAY more then the one where you

i am wondering if there is not too much... to many quests, too much loot etc... its just overvhelming...and honestly, with no game i had done so far i was doing a lot of questing... to be honest, most of the time i wasnt doing anything... the only thing i was focussing on is warfare and civilization...expanding cities, bringing them up, bringing ressources up, building armies, killing everything (while i started with some summonings) for me - bad balance between the techtrees,

one thing i a gree is that a child of a sovereign should be stronger then the sovereign so that you actually have a reason to produce children (also because they lack experience the sov has allready gained) - their attributes / skills should also depend on who the parents are...for example if sovereign is a air wizard and the mother is a water wizard then the child will be a even stronger water/air wizard and so on...

some feedback from my 3b games - i think there is way too much loot in the world...there is so much stuff lying around (and especially also popping up newly) that you hardly have the time to collect that all...and i really didnt care anymore... treasures should be something special, scarce, something you are really happy to find in the beginning because it gives you some starting ressources - as was in mom...i also dont like at all that new treasures pop up during the game...sometimes

city improvements could be unlocked after lets say finishin 20 quests, you can build a statue of yourself, conquering 10 neutral cities you can build a certain building etc.

possible city improvements empire: sacrifice altar: could give bonus to anything (through the sacrifices) maybe food or production or mana...or you could also actually really sacrifice units (or captured enemeies) to recieve anything...demons/other units etc. torture chamber: possibility to convert captured enemeis (requires that possibility of course) public execution place: reduces unrest in own / other cities (if there is anything like unrest of course)

yeah, i recognised that too... also happens when building cities from time to time... i quite often happen to be suddenly (-) gildar because it substracts way too much (in the last case, had 900 gildar, cost 700 but resultated in -1200 or so...) this needs to be resolved because it is especially annyoing when you only earn 20-30 gildar per turn and are -1000....

i think there should also be several options on the same lvl - e.g. that are "equally" good, just in another way - one being faster, one being stronger etc... i want a lot of fluff options (therefore be able to choose differntly looking armor / weapons for the fluff without sacrificing performance)...moreover i also think every race should get specific skills/armors/weapons/fighting stiles/units/combinations that only they can use...

in tactical battle screen will a unit of 4 / 8 / 20 or however soldiers be shown as 1 single soldier or will the whole unit be shown? if the later, i think it would also be cool if you got certain benefits when trooping soldiers (independent if you stack single soldiers together or built a unit from the start) bonus if you stack a unit of a certain amount of soldiers (maybe 12 for foot troops and 6 for cavallery or so), like they get a morale boost, and also a flag that represents the unity o
