Equipping both a twohanded weapon and a shield is common practice in real warfare. Every spearsman has a shield and several halberdiers and two-handed swordsmen had shields either on their backs or attached to the wrists. Archers are way too common to neglect a shield in real life. But according to standard rpg guidelines, a shield and a twohanded weapon do not work together. I prefer the real life version to the standard rpg version.
regarding all the champions running around and the "producer" champions that actually simply serve as ressource/material source....? i am not really sure about that system...dont like it that much in the beginning you waste time running around looking for champions that give these bonuses you try getting as many as possible of them while they are still inexpensive but you wont use these "ressource" champions to fight anyway...maybe to explore, and then they sim
damn it...a stupid unit of phantom warrior just killed my hero - WTF - he had 30 attack, 35 defense, same resistance, and lots of hit points, breath attack, vampiric attack, flaming attack and whatver everything - they killed him with 1 hit - i know their attacks pass defense, but WTF?
i think it would be cool to implement gods into the game that help or harm you through random events (e.g. hit a city with a lightning or send you a demon to aid you in battle etc.) and that you can influence a gods favor by doing quests for him, battling against the other gods or building shrines etc....
naaa the problem is you never really know whtas inside..sometimes it tells you there are warbears in a ruin - and then there are 9 of em, or there is 1 warbear and 3 earth elemental or wyrms (well thanks...) moreover i usually use the save rather in terms of hero or artifacts getting...
there is unfortunately no save option... is there anyway to save the game without leaving it(before tough battles etc.)?

Huh, when's 2-B? There's nothing about it on the schedule. Oh, this week. I'm so stupid.
öö how can you play if you cant develop your cities or armies? ...? 'd like to play that one again...
is there still a 2b, cause its not in the list anymore...maybe straight to 3 next thursday? [e digicons]:D[/e]
i wouldnt like if you get access to all spells by just choosing one spellbook...maybe you will also have to research for it...but i would definitely appreciate if there was always some kind of tradeoff, something like if you choose that spell you cant choose that one or you are limited to a certain spell choices from the whole deck or like the mentioned mom system
regarding the new points allocation for level ups, is everything including movement supposed to go up by that 1 point invested? i had 2 2a games so far, in one, spending a point in movement increased it only 0.2 points and in the other it increased it 1 point...huh?
you'll get the power of ultracrusher
i played 2a on a medium map and the most i built were like 6 cities and aquired another 2...but honestly i think more then 10 cities would just get boring and repetitive
i would like to get a preview on the differences of the spellbooks... moreover, i kinda liked the system in mom where you could spend points to buy "more" of the same spell books and get access to higher level spells - therefore there was a tradeoff between pure specialization and jack of all trades...like to see that too in elemental
instead of stupid shields and wrist protection GIVE US GIANT WOW PAULDRON S
oh and by the way, what does that horse quest actually do? during my game this morning i acquired 3 horses...?
erm...i still dont understand what the result of that will be - my population grows slower but on the other hand i get female soldiers - = i get more soldiers for the same costs, or produce em faster or?
what does egalitarian actually do? i dont get that?
yeah thats right... on the other hand, it really sucks if you prepare a race/sovereign for a heavy army gameplay and go low on the magic site while customizing and then you end up on the part of the map where no mine is...i just think there should be a minium amount of mines, something like 30% less then number of total players is minium (e.g. 3 players minimum 2 mines, 6 players, minimum 4 mines etc...)
you could also include certain weapon malus - for example, everything higher then chainmail gives you a malus to ranged weapons...i just dont want again a game where a tier 4 full plate armor is always betther then a tier 2 chain mail...
