I want to add a mod that would have bunch of hero characters from different fantasy lore. I would have Merlin, Sir Galahad, Gandalf, Aragorn, Elric, Corum, Fahfrd and the Grey Mouser, the Drizzit, Conan, Ged, Rand al'Thor and a host of other heros and anti-heros For cities, villages, towns-Camelot, Gondor, Greyhawk, Tristram, Baldur's Gate, Homlet, Rivendell, etc. For Factions-Arthurian, Tolkien, Melnibonean, Cimmorrean, the Forsaken, etc.<

Yea Filthgrinder. Stardock will let you into next phase of Beta if you preorder and check appropriate box. However, they only will allow you in when they are ready to open next phase of testing. That date can shift due to schedules, etc. So if you preorder now you will have access to beta, just not immediately. Think you can flip coin on these cards every couple years; i've had cards from both manufactures and have enjoyed stability and smooth graphics for years now from both companies. Well said Zehdon. I think censorship will always be in limelite because it is constantly monitored(funny huh) and people want to push it in one direction or another. As for the racism, it can disappear in my opinion, but it will take a planet wide catastrophy to get everyone on same page at same time. I also think the further away we get from historical slavery the better chances for this happening. Just another opinion..

I would think there would be a range or mix of possibilities. I wouldn't consider most spouses to be fellow champion units, but I could see this happening occasionally. Seems like having a spouse unit as a champion all the time would be boring. I would like to see these possibilities for marriages/spouses- Is fellow Soverign of neighboring Kingdom/marriage becomes alliance with some overlapping consolidation of Kingdoms>Kingdom=New name, bonuses, etc.<

I like your idea, but am hesitant to fully endorse. I am all for customization and making choices that allow for endless replayability. However, you know many people will stick to one method or style. Luckmann, I think the min-max part would be noticable in multiplayer but would be handy for single player as well. My order is in for the Limited Edition, today. This is the first time I have ever done this for a game. I think Stardock deserves the early support. Usually, I would wait(to purchase) till a game has most of its bugs worked out; a year or so down the line from initial release.
