Hehe ... yea, iirc some lances were light and BROKE on usually first impact, so you carried a bundle of them and then used your sword after they all broke (or if you got stuck close-in and didn't have room to ride away for another charge) jousting lances break btw
Tasunke
Samurai, Dragons, Hookers, Germans, Machine Guns, Bi-planes ... WTF!?? xD
sex and gender might as well be used interchangably ... but yea, using "your" definition, "sex change" should probably be called gender change. Cause unless you lose the sex organs ur really just a transvestite (another misnomer, people getting transgender and transvestite switched up ... even if you have the hormones to add/remove boobs, its still transvestite unless there is an alteration to the primary sex organs) By my definition, your sex is what you were phenotypically born as (
Heh ... honestly I'd prefer a full HP refill upon each level up.
Alrighty ... lets start the Shipping! But I think we will need some lore first ... at least the campaign (and maybe the book). I think I'm gonna ship Lady Irane and Warlord Verga ;)
Hehe ... well assuming Tactical Battles (for a city) are based upon the actual city's layout ... then I would like for some population to be lost for every attack/defense on a house tile. As well as for buildings to be able to be destroyed (90% damage), and catch fire, and and ....
Well, my original choice was "custom" but .... now my Favorite is Tarth, followed by Resolyn.
seriously? you can't just ignore the lower level spawns? Im all for scaling up, and perhaps having weaker stuff more rare ... but im not a fan of getting rid of it entirely. I will agree that after a certain point, weaker monsters are a minor annoyance ... but you can just walk past em in search for bigger monsters (whom should become more and more common as your adventurer level increases)
// I'm only suggesting this cause of the OP, I'd never seriously suggest this for Elemental Gold 1. Tile-less (continuous turn or real time) tactical battles 2. the ability to go "First Person Slasher" with your Sovereign 3. Real Time Dungeon Crawler (a la Final Fantasy) within a single turn (on a dungeon tile).
Oooook ... so then modern operations should be called "gender changes" ... cause if a guy had an actual (by your definition) "sex change" then 'She' would be able to get pregnant and bear children. Interestingly enough, some Females are actually born XY instead of XX, yet never developed male traits due to some mutation. Meaning ... they look exactly like females, have all the organs of females ... however they never started a menstrual cycle (or it was a rather irregul
only 90? I was thinking more like 105 or 110
Gladiator is definitely amazing. One of my favorite movies.
Its a pretty good movie. I kinda figured out the ending during the first 10 minutes though. I guess its only flaw is its predictability, but that still leaves it as a 9.9/10 in my book.
A lance is an extremely long spear, rather heavy, extremely slow. The point is, its the worst weapon to have on foot, and one of the best to have on horseback assuming you have PLENTY of room to maneuver (like a square kilometer). Meanwhile, most normal spears are relatively light enough that you can swing over your head, and use relatively close-combat maneuvers.
well, spears would still be faster without a shield (because you could also use it as a staff), but yea, you can use a shield with em. Just saying that some pole-arms couldn't be used with a shield, while most can be either 1H or 2H. Meanwhile pure staff-combat weapons wouldn't have a spearpoint, so couldn't use a shield. Although ... a Lance pretty much just has one use with or without a shield .... which is a couched attack using momentum. I mean, have you tried to N

Aye... having "world" accesible quests instead of just individual (activating faction) quests would be interesting. Not entirely certain of the mechanics of it or the balance, but I think the idea is sound.
Heh ... perhaps if an Inn currently has a quest the "lights could be on" ... or somehow the windows glow/ lamps lit, etc
well, of course shields should be only usable with 1H weapons and most polearms. Still, it'd be nice if shields gave an attack speed decrease, so that the only way to maximise attack speed (unless your stats were through the roof) would be to use a 1H weapon without a shield. Plus, a blanket 20-30% parry chance to auto-block each ranged attack (ignoring attack value), as well as a 5-10% parry chance for melee attacks from the front or diagonal. (with 2-5% for th
I was thinking .... Shields should probably reduce attack speed (the tradeoff would be slightly higher defense and a "parry chance") "Parry chance" would be X% of the time, the physical attack is automatically blocked without any need for further rolls. This chance would be at least doubled vs incoming ranged attacks.
The idea is that facebook games are overly simple and 1-dimensional. Not to mention that half of them are just ways to get your credit card number. (or at least the money therein). They are just "click button to win" or "give me credit card to reach next level."
Might seem random (but to me its not) ... that Mount and Blade: Warbands is a bit too little RPG. I don't mind the detail so much, but it might be slightly too much Sim just because the pacing is so slow. Anyways, there are elements of the game that I could see myself using ... but there honestly isn't enough quests or Storyline in Warbands imho. It just kind of drops you in the wilds from day 1. Now ... if there was a line of quests that went from No Power -> All Power, an

Indeed ... too much peaceful cow ruins a game. And I don't mean the franchise, I mean that particular session.
I really like the way Cities work in Beta 3C (in that it encourages fewer cities)
