Just click retire to hide old units, but keep them for next game. It doesn't delete them.
It doesn't? Then why do they disappear from my units folder?
Quick question: If you have the trait Death Worship (and are empire ofc) ... can you train Ritualists? Or, perhaps ... I suppose what I am really asking is if there is a way for trained units (by the AI/player) to summon death demons :) (ofc, if a champ can do so with appropriate spell level, let me know certainly! But extra curious if Ritualists/ trained units can do so- for the playable factions)
One thing I'd like to say about unit customization ... please give us an option to simply "hide" our old custom-unit designs, rather than to completely scrap them. I mean, I don't want to choose between the AI only using my most recently created designs (plus stock units), and having to sift through nearly 100 units just to get to the one I was going to make today.
Should almost do a poll on this: Would you be willing to give up player designed units to have a greater visual variety in the races? Basically, the limitation is that each body type / skeleton requires its own set of clothing, armor, etc.
I wouldn't mind it tbh ...
Hmm, not sure about that now ... I think I'd do it more like this. +1 iron, +2 iron, +4 iron, +3 iron +1 steel, +2 iron +2 steel. That sort of progression ;) I do agree, however, that it should be tied directly to the Iron mines (better for a game like this)
It's amazing to me that DLC is one of those things that trigger massive uncontrolled internet nerd-rage. If you don't want it, don't buy it. If you want some premade maps and new stamps to enhance your random maps buy it. If you feel like supporting Stardock some more, buy it. It's not like they're charging people for key content. They're f'ing maps and stamps. Otherwise, g
I mean, its probably fair enough from a business perspective (especially with respect to selling DLC on the vast market of steal sales) to just choose something that is easy to create. But you'd have to keep in mind that the following results would be skewed one way or another. Clearly the demographics on this forum would be skewed against, but I guess its possible that you'd have other demographics that would be skewed for it. Point is, map-packs are not in my mind 'typical'
Map packs don't require as many resources to create. You can use its sales to judge the general interest in DLC.
But that is just it. You Can't. Its not that you 'may' not, but it is simply impossible to gauge DLC interest on a type of DLC that people do not want. Generally, maps are just added to the pot. I agree that something like, say, a "faction" DLC may require too ma
I would hate to see higher thinking AI only linked with resource bonus AI ... :(

XD But really, we have more similarities than you think ... as we are nothing more than up quarks and down quarks ;) </
5 dollars for a map pack ... maybe throw in something else? (if sticking with 5 dollars)
yea, I was able to kill him with my sov around level 10/ level 12 ... just managed to kill him before he casted it :) ( granted, it may have taken a reload or two ;) )
Notice how nothing (except Axes) gives an initiative bonus. Notice how nothing is immune to counter attacks. Maybe horses/wargs could make units immune to counter attacks instead? Maybe spears are the only weapon that still gets a counter attack vs a mounted user? (Spears +1 counter attacks vs mounted units?) As far as magical staves ... possibly even wands ... I think little to no weight, very low attack, some dodge, some initiative, and a modera

swords and spears are good right now (relatively, I think). Axes and Maces and Hammers on the other hand .... (ranged weapons are also handled well)
I might dig into that map pack ... but it just depends. On a less exciting night I'd probably be more on the fence about it.
do all champions have an inherent bonus to stationed cities? If it was somehow level dependent (not to mention extra goodies from the Governor path ...) all the more reason to retire those high level heavily wounded types ;)
As long as no injuries (curse you typhoid fever!!!) don't effect the rest of the units in a stack ... I can't see immortals as a weakness >.>

Some options for Axes ... Bonuses 1. No reason to make backswing do double damage imho. Maybe just have it trigger regardless of whether the attack hit or missed?
What is this Fantasy DLC u speak of? Wizards in Crusader Kings you say? Warlocks and Werewolves as well?
