from fallen having all shapes and sizes, I would be more inclined to think that each "Faction" of the fallen has a different shape ... so there might be Fire-men fallen, Ice-men fallen, ect, each with slightly different morphologies. That being said, there certainly could be certain fallen within each Faction that are simply "better" are bigger, scarier, or just plain look wierder. For instance, a "super fallen" of fire-men faction might have a long spiny tail and large tattered wings

Yea, walls being in-between tiles seems like the best option. I wonder if that will make walls harder to garrison though? Maybe not .. I mean, if ranged units start in a tile "defended" by a wall (a wall should have a front and a back, I think), then if they are attacked from the side which is defended by the wall, I think such ranged units should start upon a massive wall in the battle-screen. Perhaps the rest of units will have an option to use ladders to scale the wall in-case the opponent

yea ... but to disband at a steady or slightly randomized rate? or to involve the justification score as well? (or all 3) Also, a question remains should be even let a call to arms army leave a nations borders, assuming the feature is implemented. I pheer there is a thought that once an enemy army reaches city X, cities A-G will be able to Call-to-Arms as well. This is not the case, only City X can Call-to-Arms if thats the only location where the enemy has entered influence z

Personally I would like the option of still controlling my units ... aka grouping like-minded soldiers into a cohesive unit, and grouping units into "wings" which are just control groups (ctrl1, ctrl2) which will have similar orders, and happen to be in the same location on the battlefield (front melee wing, rear melee wing, archer wing, left cavalry wing, right cavalry wing, general's wing)

all you have to do is sneak into the ACU, kill the commander and Bang! you have a weapon to fight the enemy with. Would require an immense amount of timing, luck, and subterfuge. Does masterchief have these skills? You can find out in Mastercheif vs SuperCommander pay-per-view, only 29.99 monthly for the "what-if-scenario" channel pack. Halo vs SuperCommander is coming on 8e/7c Sunday night. Thats right ... SUNDAY SUND

banned for dis-liking death panels. When I was a young street urchin, barely 5 years old, a death panel took me in and raised me as its own.

Well, once a peasant army is mobilized by a defensive Call-to-Arms, whats to stop *most* of them from being riled up enough to continue on to the nearest enemy city?

The way I saw it, above arguments were made with the assumption that a single soldier could have two weapon slots. Not for dual wielding, but for switching back n forth (aka Sword/ n Longbow) or (Claymore/ n sword+buckler) or (Pike/ n Longsword), and perhaps either having a shield or dual-wielding would dis-allow you from carrying an alternate weapon. Either way, I definetly like the "alternate weapon" policy. Either it could be more automatic like in Total war, or it could be selecte

yea ... you could treat minor wounds kind-a like foot-ball injuries, a soldier* could be out of commision for a couple months while he heals *-player, hero, peasant, sovereign (sovereign needs 3 turns to heal, a compound shin fracture :p), or 1 turn of rest required, sprained ankle. 20% of our soldier need to take some time off of the battlefield, or else they could over-heat and be useless next game *ahem* I mean battle.

Im fairly certain we are already decided on Earth/Water/Fire/Air/Death/Life .... unless you are talking 'bout modz. In this case Earth would also be following the path of nature/plants/animals(in addition to dirt n rocks), while Air would govern weather, ect. Water and Fire are kind of self explanatory, as well as Death and life.

Well maybe thats part of the danger in hiring heroes? They could be a spy :p I just wonder how in-game that could work, hmm? okay Hero, see that ledge, this is where we are going to attack from. And then ... come the battle the spy is led down the ledge with a small army, and if ppl are waiting for him they would know? This proves very interesting mind game possibilities, but im just NOT sure if I want such uncertainty (about spy or not) in my game. Either way, if he is a spy,

Yea ... and particular evil emperors could simply, erm, "euthanize" them ... but with serious alignment repercussions (or bonuses?) But a grande strategy against most nations, I agree, and forcing them to make harsh choices. Albeit, if cities had happiness it would be easier to hand out "repercussions" for people that act out of alignment. (also, a broad alignment where nations can gradually change good->N->evil or evil->N->good or Chaos->N-> Law, ect, ect.)<
