I've been playing Two Worlds 2, it's a surprisingly good game.
This is great news, can't wait to see what elemental will turn into.

There was way way way too much concern/worry that we were ruining the game for the beta testers so we tried to hold back as much as we could. Bad idea. Meh, that's the risk you take as a beta tester. One of the things i remember finding rather odd was that just prior to release draginol/frogboy/brad kept saying that the "internal build" was so much better than the build available to the betas. At the moment it took it on good faith. And their excuses afterwards, for their lapse of judgement, were all very reasonable. I just don't understand why the final build wasn't made available to the betas (or why our version wasn't more in sync with the internal build). It would
Aah, that was it. Some auto-exploring boat didn't know where to go. Thanks you guys.
Hi everybody So this game i have been playing refuses to advance to the 356th turn. I've tried to save & restart the game. I've restarted the game and loaded a previous autosave (turn 351). And still at turn 355 it refuses to advance to the next turn. I click the next turn button but nothing happens. Curiously there isn't any kind of crash, and after the useless click i can still perform actions within the game. External link proved contains a zip with debug
I like how cities are spread out over multiple tiles. Even though it's a shame that the actual layout of your city doesn't influence it's performance in any way. I like how you can design your own units (though the UI could do with some improvement). But there isn't a single aspect (as far as i can remember) that i would consider perfect.

Congratulations on becoming a father BoogieBac. As this article states, you guys do have a good record of fixing your mistakes, so i'll have a little faith and wait to see what happens (while playing civ5). At least i can continue to enjoy watching the game being developed.
Netherlands, about a week ago.
I think the concept of "persistant dynasties" was tossed around a bit, not sure what came of it. Furthermore it seemed to be an aspect of the multiplayer part of the game, a part which (at the moment) is supposed to be rather underdeveloped. Don't know what it was going to entail, but it sounded pretty interesting. (Not that i care much for multiplayer.)
It could just be a region thing, but when i look at that page it says august 24. EDIT: ninjad. You know i would appreciate some feedback from someone at stardock itself.
It takes 100 turns for a child to mature.
And wolframalpha tells me 18 years devided by 100 equals 2 months, 4 days, 20 hours & 48 minutes. So a turn equals about 2 months of in-game time. Makes me wonder though how long the average game will last (in turns of course).
(and really, probably years since we plan to keep adding more techs after release with updates and not tell anyone).
That´s awesome, but won't we be able to tell from the .xml files? And it could be sweet to tie in some achievements to these techs.
Neat! [e digicons]\o/[/e] Is this engine going to be availeble to third parties. (Or any idea how many games will be using this engine?) Because it sounds pretty sweet.
Randomization vs. Richness. I won’t lie to you, we have a trade off in front of us and it’s a big one. We can randomly generate the battlefields in tactical combat OR we can have it pick from a series of pre-made tactical battle maps. The randomly generated ones won’t be as interesting but they’ll more accurately reflect the local terrain. I’m preferring the pre-made ones because we can add some spectacular
This is a screenshot of Elemental on a low end ATI mobile card.
Sweet! My laptop has a low end ati mobile card! (Though i have to say, that screeny looks a bit sparse, a little variation between the textures of the empty tiles would be nice. Or less squaredness, i know it's a tile based game, but completely square forest are just silly.)
That is awesome, if only i had a proper character idea. [e digicons][/e]
Aww, i've been looking forward to the update since it was announced.
I fully expect, at one point, to save a princess or some rich/powerfull persons daughter (or son), and get to marry him/her as a reward. Extra awesome if him/her has something special going for them, extra extra awesome if it's genetic. So good idea, and i wouldn't surprise me if they thought of it already.
I don't see why the spell effects on the cloth map have to be boring (maybe boring when compared to the 3d engine, but not boring on it's own right).
D'aw, but i like kittens. Nice magic screen, and i like the direction the magic system is going. Also "heat lightning"?
Awesome news, looking forward to the final game even more now (and this should get my friends, all AoW fanatics, more interested).
Is it just me or does AOW look just like Master of Magic but updated with CIV III graphics?
That's what it looks like, but if you're a tbs/fantasy fan you should have tried it at least once (found the demo on gamershell).
