Woot! First scenario bug fixed already!

I would also prefer for more time for bug fixing and polishing. However, there are factors in the game business that I am only vaguely aware of that dictate the timing of releases (for example, I would guess that it is not a good idea for an indie game maker like Stardock to release a game during the same week that some other major release is happening). Brad has been in the business for a long time, and I'm sure he has good reasons for timing the release when he has. <
Gallowman, a recruitable champion, has an ability called Consume Spirit. The tooltip for Consume Spirit says "Unlocks the following spell" without specifying any spell. If the spell is called "Consume Spirit", it's not listed in the Hiergamenon.
Never mind, it wasn't that the tile was broken, it was again that oddity where you have to put the mouse pointer someplace other than where you think it should be to select the tile, plus the inability to distinguish the colors of the allowed movement against the background.
In the following city tactical map, the tile pointed to by the arrow could not be moved into.
Looks like bug to me, as long as you were playing Umber...
Yes, I am playing Umber.
Playing as Kulan with the Umber faction, my sovereign was greeted as Kulan of Resoln: Shouldn't that be Kulan of Umber? Or is there something in the lore I'm missing?
No, I've found this a lot ... it seems when you tame the only unit in the stack, it puts whatever the last critter was you killed over there under the defeated side. It doesn't seem to know what to do with itself when there's no units actually defeated.
Just noticed this is still happening in .87. Playing as Kulan, I killed a Butcherman. A couple of turns later he tamed a bear cub that was by itself, and th
Is this possibly a side effect of the Steam cloud sync overwriting your new units? I've disabled the cloud sync so that I could delete old sovereigns and units, but I don't really trust it.
Exactly the same problem that I reported for the Fist of Vetrar in this post.
Thanks, guys, maybe not a bug then. And I have seen them all disappear when the quest is done.
Are there supposed to be more than one Arena of the Slakhanans? If not, I suspect that a new one is generated each time you hit control-N at the start of the game.
I designed two units, one carrying an Ice Staff and the other carrying an Incineration Staff. Here's the upgrade XML for the first: MaximizeBest UnitStat_Attack_Cold &nbs
End of Turn
That's why those of us who have been playing FE for a while almost always turn off "autoturn" in the options menu.
Looks like the last (highlighted) line in the tooltip for the fist of Vetrar, is bad:
If you want it to upgrade to a vareity of things you might consider changing that .xml code to read
Ah, I think I see. The base weapon damage of the lightning hammer (9) is the same as the base damage of the warhammer. I guess the additional lightning damage isn't accounted for in the upgrade calculation.
You're right, that's what caused it, as has been discussed in this thread.
Are warhammers two-handed
Both the hammer and the lightning hammer are one handed. The unit equips both a hammer and shield.
I haven't tried the latest couple of versions tho so it is possible they have already removed the hard cap.
I believe I saw in another thread that it is now moddable.
I am not able to find a way to do this under spells, skills, or items while in combat
I just got the hummingbird pike and can verify that there's no way to cast the summoning spell.
This is still present in .87. Certainly not as high priority as some others, but it seems like it could be an easy fix.
it was solved by redoing the design as weapon stats changing screws up the autoupgrade.
My problem was entirely on .87. I deleted all old unit types (and shut off Steam synch) and designed this one from scratch within the .87 game. So it must be a bug.
