I started a new game on .87, and designed a unit with an upgradable hammer for a weapon. After researching enchantment, the lightning hammer becomes available, and I thought I should have been able to upgrade my unit's weapon. But on the upgrade window, there is no weapon upgrade available. In the unit's XML, I see this: <S
Has this been fixed? It is still occurring in my games.
Did you start a new game, or load a .85 save? In another thread Derek said that some of the fixes would only be apparent if you started a new game.
We have a fix for this issue in 0.87.
Thanks, it seems you do. I've tried multiple control-Ns, and loading a save from within a save, and can't get the problem to occur.

Back in .50, I think, I tried to use the collar on a critter that wasn't a beast (don't remember what it was), was told the collar couldn't be used, and then it disappeared.
In this thread , in my last post, I had a goodie hut in a wildland that didn't show in either the regular map or the cloth map.
parrottmath, you are incredible! I hope the developers notice your fix. [e digicons]k1[/e]
You're right, looks like the same map.
This is still happening in .85. Same scenario, build a tower of dominion, capture and raze an enemy town w/tower of dominion, and all of a sudden you can build another one.
I know this has been reported before, but I went back 7 pages in the support forum and couldn't find a previous post. Anyway, I attacked a city and discovered that the sovereign whose city I was attacking was placed way outside the tactical city map. There were a lot of defending units, all of which have already been killed in this screen shot. I had to zoom way out to find him. <img src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5003976/LH2013-04-29_1448.png" alt=""
I did manage to clear the Pit of Namtur that I pictured in my last post. There was an unmarked goodie hut (a beast's remains) 3 tiles due south of where my sovereign's army is in the screen shot. It was marked neither in the cloth map nor the zoomed-in strategic map. I had to mouse over every tile in the wildland to find it.
Here's another one, this one from .85. I've cleared all the goodie huts from the Pits of Namtur, and stopped my army on the iron deposit, the gold deposit, and Holhiarn for good measure, but the wildland won't clear. This particular wildland doesn't have any wandering monsters, so I doubt it's the case where a monster army has wandered off the reservation. One odd thing, there was a goodie hut labeled a temple on the spot where the arrow is pointing (or c
The "Hunger Pains" quest also gives 0 xp and 0 fame, with no reward other than the xp you get for defeating the ogre. That is, if you choose to fight the ogre and save the inn's customers. I didn't try letting the ogre eat some of the customers, in that case I guess you get the ogre as a reward.
Look at the damage hint popup when you hover over it. It says 0 damage!
My complaint is not that the spell doesn't work, if that was really the intent of the quest. It's that the useless spell sticks around afterwards. It really should be a one time scroll like parrotmath suggested.
Have you tried validating your game files via Steam?
Yes, as a matter of fact I did that before starting the game that showed the problem. It said that one file was "corrupted" and would be downloaded, which it did. When I started the game I found that all of my saved options had been reset to the default, so I'm thinking that the prefs.ini file is the one that was "corrupted". But that's a separa
Turn off the steam cloud sync and you should be able to del once again.
I've done that, and was able to delete my old custom sovereigns and units. But if I ever turn the steam cloud on again in the future, will they all come back?
And the "Defeat the Pyre of Man" is fixed. I'll update the OP.
This is still happening in .85, I hit control-n in my latest game and see the problem as in the previously posted screen shots.
I can confirm that at least the Exterminator achievement is fixed in .85. I took Procipinee's last city, then defeated her in battle, and got the achievement.
It persists to the finished unit portrait:
This is the first time I've played as Magnar, so I don't know if this has been reported so far. When I try to design a new unit, and select slave, the displayed unit has no head:
In the following tactical map, my selected spearmen cannot move into the tile to the south east, between them and my Ophidian. The Ophidian started out in that tile, so the tile is broken.
I don't think this is intended:
Especially for the beta, where old unit/sovereign designs can become invalid between beta drops, this needs to be made easy for the testers.
If this is the same problem I reported in this thread , then the developers have fixed it and the fix will be in the next beta drop.
