Question: are you running fullscreen or in a window? If in fullscreen, this bug was reported in an earlier beta. I can't keep track of whether the developers fixed it or not, though, so I'm just suggesting that you try playing in windowed mode if you want to keep testing until the alt-tab bug is finally fixed.

For the first time I tried to build a harbor, but when I did I saw this: The city boundary around the mine site over to the shard was disrupted when I placed the harbor to be constructed. Here's a saved game that will hopefully display the problem. Update: here's a dxdiag.

I was playing a game with 2 opponents. One of them declared war on me, so I trained a couple of units equipped with spears and went and killed the enemy sovereign. That ended the game as a victory for me. I had not defeated the other opponent, so either there's a bug or the other sovereign was killed by a troll or something. Anyway, I'd like to suggest that when an opponent, even one you haven't met yet, is killed, that you get notified. In case you need it,

Version 0.295 This shows multiple problems: This is part of a peninsula that is blocked by a mountain range so that Gilden is blocked off from the other factions. It looks like there might be a pass through the mountains, but I can't move my sovereign through it. Further down the peninsula (not shown) is another mountain range that blocks off the end of the peninsula. Also note

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but even on games where I've won and gotten the Victory window, when I exit the game I see a memory dump in the Elemental directory. Here's one such dump. And here's the debug.err. and for good measure, the dxdiag.</a

On earlier betas, some folks had some success with turning off anti-aliasing. If turning off advanced lighting doesn't help, you might try turning off anti-aliasing.

Following a crash, I reloaded from the last autosave and tried to build a new house in my capitol. Here's what it looked like: I've indicated a tile next to my city where I'm not given any option to build on. Before the crash and the reload of the saved game, this tile was buildable. After the reload, it's not. Here's a

I completed a move, selected my sovereign on the map and was sitting there trying to decide where to move him next when the game crashed. debug.err is here. dxdiag is here. memory dump is here.

This might be another example: My sovereign appears to be on the same tile as a wandering hero. If I mouse over that tile, sometimes the tooltip shows me the hero, sometimes the sovereign. In case it helps, here's a saved game.

To follow up on my last post, you can insert a screen shot in your post by clicking on the little "tree" icon in the post editor, and then when the insert image window pops up, use ctl-v to paste your Dropbox public link into the link field. Similarly, if you want to include a link to a debug file, select some text in your post and the little "chain" icon will activate. Click on it and paste your dropbox public link into the popup window that appears.
Dropbox appears to require email addresses to share with. Which addresses should we use?
I think that's only if you want to share a whole folder in Dropbox. What I've been doing is just moving files to my Dropbox "Public" folder, then right mouse button on the file (after it gets the green checkmark), select the "Dropbox" option, then "Copy Public Link". You can then paste that link into a post on these forums.

And if my starting position had been 10 tiles away from a farm, I could have just used 10 turns to move to the farm before founding my city. It's still a bad starting location.

FYI, for anyone following this thread, in my latest game my first born son came of age, I moved him out of my capitol, and joined him in my army with my sovereign. Tarth declared war on me shortly afterwards, and even though I defeated 3 Tarth soldiers, 3 trolls, and the Tarth queen, only my sovereign seemed to gain any experience. Question for the developers, if any are paying attention to this thread: Do any members of an army associated with a sovereign gain experience from b
