1.)Pretty sure it is impossible to settle in someone else's territory 2.) My guess is this is a sign you need to play on a higher difficulty, whatever you're on now has become too easy for you
davrovana
Which map are you playing on that has so many settle-able spots?
How about sticking with "War of Magic?" I like that name. PLEASE GIVE US AN OFFICIAL DYNASTIES DLC.
Very nice this mod and very challenging, now i enable magic victory .
If you delete "ROVANA Forge_override.xml" then the standard magic victory is no longer disabled by the mod. Thanks for the feedback.
Always been that way, since FE.
There is an .xml doc in the LH scenario folder that defines the difficulty level of the enemy players. Over-write it and go crazy!
Henchmen are crazy good.
Pirates? Lumberjacks?
...the AI goes in and plops a city right next the dragon lairs and NEVER gets attacked.
Monsters are far more likely to attack units than cities, that's why you see that. Basically monsters follow and attack units, but only attack a city if their random movement brings them into a city.
Thanks for your help the tips were very useful
Hope you have some luck. Ceresa is probably the best sovereign if you have steady mana flow.
To follow sjaminei's lead: 1.) Have spiders web everything they can. 2.) Cast Infection on the weakest spell resist enemy. 3.) then graveseal on the same enemy. 4.) Win Or: 1.) Turn every shard into a death shard with corruption 2.) Cast Dirge Of Ceresa 3.) Win or: 1.) Get blizzard 2.) Cast blizzard 3.) Win Or: Or: 1.) Turn every shard into a death shard w
yithril declaring war and moving stacks while deadly ranked spiders attack other cities...
Monsters can be a blessing during war - there is a chance the AI will get attacked as they pass by the epic monster stacks, and get weakened or outright obliterated.
Updated to Lost Forge v1.1. For Legendary Heroes v1.2 and 1.3beta.
FYI this event (Spider Queen) can first trigger starting at turn 100
Similar situation happened to me. Just expand away from them (use birth of summer if you have to) and you can recover. They might raze one of your cities, but losing one city isn't so bad when you have 5+.
Some changes will be required for v1.3, new version in the works.
Not saying I am even close to parrotmath's skill with modding/programming, but to toot my own horn, I called this back in May: https://forums.elementalgame.com/445160/page/1/ Can I be parrotmath's intern at stardock?
Happened to me, too, in v1.2. Met Resoln, she declared war the next turn. Only time I can recall where the AI declared war before turn 100.
This troll-initiated thread should be locked.
If you've played FTL, then go back to LH, injuries do seem like hand-holding. But as silly as killing champions over and over is, they are there for a reason. In FE beta testing, perma-death made investing the leveling time in heroes less desirable. Getting "do-overs" is a major reason to use heroes over trained troops.
+1, was easier to see in FE, it changed during the LH beta if I recall correctly.
Town Level 4 Embassy perk removes the unrest penalty from that town alone. Fortresses have global unrest-reducing bonuses, towns don't.
My computer struggles with the late game. Thanks for this!
You're sure there is no alliance or tribute in effect?
Wait, are you saying that you can critically hit with a spell? I never knew that!
Yes. Getting a critical on flame dart is basically an instakill. When your fireball hits 3 targets but 2 are crits...you get the idea!
