Tremendous idea, Stardock guys you should be pushing GPG for this (obviously after a few current high priority items) as after game talk builds stronger relationships between players leading to a happier, longer lasting community

I'm pretty happy with the current options... I tend to think of speed as very much worth while, but I play as erebus, and tend to overextend myself so running away happens frequently. If I played more cautiously and got +HP and +Minion items I probably wouldn't need the speed as much. rhymfaxe, it is possible to retreat without having greater move speed. There are several tactics that make it possible, including leaving the fight earlier, having an aly cover yo
Can someone please explain what net_lag is and what the significance of its default value is? I've found I tend to try to play only with Australian players as a reaction to the connection issues. This is probably not logical, but consider that it may be a factor in the decisions of many people.

GPG is the developer. Developers Develop. Stardock is the publisher... Publishers deal with the marketing, the community, effectively the public face of the game... It makes sense for the official forums to be looked after by the people responsible for managing the community. GPG is unlikely to announce anything directly to the customers, their announcements are most likely going to come through Stardock. Similarly GPG isn't likely to take any notice of

Oft confused with "Ice Cream" the Icy Pole contains no traces of dairy product and some claim it to be nothing but flavoured ice with perhaps a touch of softener. It's a good idea, but it's winter time down here, so icy poles aren't around so much (although I suppose i could just go to the

I agree with the sentiment, but stats is pretty broken, so I wouldn't try to use that one as evidence. What I loved to read was that the head designer wanted every demigod to feel overpowered, which is awesome
Durokk that's a very informative post, thanks for the tip and I will see how I go with that play style. What are your recommendations re idol aquisition order? Do you get lvl 2 priests out the door, or do you go for multiple lvl 1 idols? Which general do you typically play as? I'm an erebus player and I play half way assasin half way general, I certainly use the tactics you mention of getting minions to put their damage in first where possible Also w
Connection issues are the only outstanding game breakers. Everything else is an annoyance at worst, I would LOVE to play some betas of this high quality
There's a lot more to the game than getting the most kills. If you feed the oponent but hold down all the flags for the longest time you can still pull off a win
Personally what I'd really like is some more stats kept on players and available when they join games. If I could see number of games played next to average quit rate (number of games left early / total games played) then that'd make it pretty easy to set up the expectations prior to a game. Just have the other clients who didn't quit report the quitter to the server.
I forgot to mention... memorize the numbers... If you're got a bite that does 500 damage, and the enemy has 700 hit points, don't use it. Wait till they are under 500 then insta kill. That's his big draw card
erebus tips: 1 - Get hit twice then bite (or get hit once if it's a nuke then bite) you should be cooled off and ready for another bite when the fight is near its end 2 - Don't engage near towers, don't take on multiple DG's at once 3 - max out bite, max out swarm size, max out bat swarm, max out regen 4 - Buy vlemish face mask as soon as you can, then boots of speed, then the life gain armour, then some gloves 5 - If you're not winning a battle, run, b

Maybe I'm just misleading that because of the language barrier though
has the game been released in Australia yet? I'd probably expect numbers to increase a bit after that happens, also once stardock starts pushing it a little harder
