You're assuming people are going to use the concede function a lot... I only rarely concede games in general, and in demigod, I don't think I'd concede ever. Trying to fight off a horde of incoming creeps while dodging demigods that are higher level and/or decked out in better gear is good skills practice and fairly entertaining. The people who are going to use the concede function are the ones that will currently quit when they're losing. If they implement it so

1 - Stardock is addressing this with the concede feature. 2 - SomeRandomNewbie should get on the forums and/or the chat and start TALKING to people, so he can do some learning and get into some games where people are willing to teach him instead of messing up other people's games. If people are joining, failing, leaving without speaking at all, then they should get a few slaps in the face. If they resolve that by leaving the game forever instead of talking

Obviously you don't give a crap what I think, but for what it's worth, maybe I was wrong about you. Out of curiosity, what made you change your mind?
good job, thanks for the stats. Any chance we gan get minion attack speed in there? looks like archers are a better buy than minotours from those stats, they live longer by being ranged and they deal more damage
Well, given the current state of MP for this game, I think it is safe to state that SD choice of waiting after release before making a demo was restropectively a wise one.
Agreed, I did not mean to criticize the beloved SD overlords, I just meant to say I'm looking forward to when they DO release a multi player demo so I can get more people playing, because more people playing means more fun for me. I've already got 2 friends who bought the game early, if all three of us can get another 3 friends to bu

I want more than one coupon, I have many friends who want to buy for half price but only one coupon :(
I'd also like to give a shout-out to the cheapest item in the game, the Totem of Revelation. The +5 vision bonus is passive - you get it just for having one in your inventory, and it can easily open up a whole new set of strategies. Buy one unless you're playing without Fog.
Thanks for the tip, I was unaware of that and will consider using it

No Theory craft? I don't need any of your "science" it means nothing next my overwhelming anecdotal evidence!
good lord that last one is attrocious!
stolivodka, please calm down. Ok, so the first post in the thread speaks about dgbanlist.com, and the idea of that site as a big list of people who have pissed off other people for whatever reason is something that you don't like. I get that. What is wrong with suggesting other uses for that site? If you can't handle us moving the topic away from something that you strongly disagree with then you have serious conflict resolution issues. Conversations are mean
The system that you propose is dumb, because when confronted with a rating between 0 and 10, just about everyone chooses either 0 or 10. alban, please stop responding to non-constructive comments, that's just going to fan the flames. I've skimmed most of these responses and they all seem to be similar things. Here's some of that constructive criticism you are after. People would be more accepting of, and greater served by a "network of trust" style list. Let people have their own ban-lists and let people add each other as friends with a percentage figure that represents compl
Can we have some more details about your testing here? You say three friends. Were you all in voice contact with each other? I assume you were playing a custom game. Was the other team pre-organised and in communication with each other? I think 3v1 demigod ganks are just about always going to be a powerful strategy, but unless you've tested it over 3-5 games against another team of 3 demigod players who all know each other and have a strategy pre
So there's the mana readouts and this appears to be erebus' weak spot in terms of base stats, his max mana is pretty low for the first 4 levels and his mps is pretty attrocious too. This should end up meaning that an increase in mana cost for his abilities is going to hit him pretty hard in terms of what he can do. Doing DPS from base stats is going to be a bit more tricky as there's an upper bound a lower bound and an attacks per second, so I'm thinking either just average it out, or
