I bought SC2 for the custom maps, unfortunately it seems the custom maps are generally less interesting than those from wc3.
Generally, most decent maps are some derivative of the DOTA and Tower Defense formula, though there are really inventive maps out there if you dig. Blizzard's terrible interface, however, hides basically all but the most played maps - which are generally the oldest ones. Regional Re

I got the impression that seiges were outside the scope of what was being attempted with FE, as the focus seems to be on Units and Champions as opposed to massed Armies. I'm more than happy to be wrong, as this is really something I loved from Rome: Total War. Seiges, to me, would simply add another vital element needed in these types of games that makes the Warfare feel like Warfare, and add depth to the whole proceedings. I'm the kind of guy who has imaginary sto

Everything else is a distant second. I'm waiting to see if Deus Ex: Human Revolution is going to be good. However, when the developer lists "Mouse and Keyboard controls" when talking about PC "features", one begins to worry. Battlefield 3 should also be quite good, however again I'll wait and see. At least PC Gamin

I actually found this E3 to be one of the most boring of any E3 I've looked forward to, and it failed to deliver anything of any real "oomph". While the Wii U was interesting, Nintendo are failing to learn from their past mistakes. When you have something new, come out and and actually say "Here are the games to get excited about." While I love my 3DS, they shot themselves in the foot by showing off dozens of titles and failing to deliver basically all of them. A

I'd love to see this type of technology used for people who don't have the use of their limbs, or suffer the nightmare-fuel "locked in" syndrome. As for defence, I like sleeping at night know the boys and girls keeping me safe have the best tools of the trade at their disposal. However, there is a line there, as whatever they have to defend me can be used to keep me quiet should the situation arise. Mind controlled death machines crosses that line.

Just watched the first three episodes, and I must say that this is easily the best show on the box right now. Sean Bean just eats it up like a fucking boss . I haven't read any of the books - probably to my shame - however I'm finding this easy to follow and enjoyable to boot, though a few names seem to slip past. As for the "winter is coming" thing, I think it's their motto because they spend their time in the north getting prepared for the cold, heart

I held out from getting sucked into Elemental until 1.2. I'm having a great time, however I keep running into a really bad problem: my opponents get high levels of Armour quickly, and then declare War on me. Unless I've dedicated all my research to only Military, giving myself also advanced Armour and Weapons with enough damage to actually hit the, my Units can't even hit the attackers! In three seperate games, an Army of literally two guys wipe out my entire Kin

What we're seeing happen here with Sony is something technology companies - particuarly game companies - assume wasn't going to happen: large scale backlash. Sony let loose its legal hounds on the PS3 cracker Geo-hotz, and attempted to make a well documented example of him for allowing people to modify the PS3. Instead, Sony is being made the example of by people who treat freedom of information quite seriously. Companies are quite literally removing people's r

I'm all for protecting Intellectual Property. I'm not, however, for trading the rights and privacy of individuals to protect those Intellectual Properties. Allowing companies to go on fishing exhibitions, and preventing individual artists from the same endeavous through red tape, all the while singing the tag line "if you're innocent, you've got nothing to worry about" is plain unacceptable.

So, basically anyone who able to put enough pressure on the Government using this Bill's power as it's avenue is able to protect their IP rights at the expense of other's rights, and everyone who is not able to put enough pressure on the Government using this Bill's power as it's avenue is basically fucked. Sounds like a typical Corporate lobbied Bill, to me. As my friends have said, if they continue to wittle away rights and leave everything open all while

Haha, too easy; the game you're thinking of is Nocturne . Bit of a flawed gem, but still worth a play through. I remember being flawed but the way the trench coat flowed as he climbed ladders.
...I too have lost faith in blizzard...
Quite a few have. Blizzard changed when World of Warcraft made them more money than they ever thought they'd see. Now, don't get me wrong, Blizzard's games are always well polished, however the spark that made their older titles true classics just isn't there. They used to all have their own flavour, now everything flavoured "World of Warcraft". Starcr
Saying that WoM multiplayer "works" is like saying that a car missing the drivers side door "works". It's a technically accurate statement that leaves any customer who falls for it seething with rage... At this point I don't have much sympathy for people who still buy it for MP because ten seconds of research would reveal just how bad that portion of the game is, but the drastic difference in tone Brad takes between the SP problems and the MP

Careful Brad: He sounds serious! And as for the OP, Stardock advertise the game as having a multiplayer component. It does. There is no "False Advertising" regardless of it's functionality in your particular situation. If you want it fixed, post some helpful information. If not, sod off.

The internet has been capped in Australia since it's been available. I'm on a 50/50 Plan; 50gb On-Peak and 50gb Off-Peak. There are no benefits to the system, unless you own the system. This will in no way slow, stop or prevent the progression of information technology services towards "Cloud" based systems. In fact, these types of Caps allow ISP Companies to make significantly more money - the more cloud based services, the more likely you need a bigger cap, t

Well, if it's "gone gold" it's being readied for release. 24 hours at most, unless Stardock are still enjoying their morning irish coffees.

What worries me most are the double standards employed by Sony. When it's their information on the table, such as with the now infamous GeoHotz circus, Sony is quick to the draw and absolutely relenting in their pursuit. It wasn't until the massive PR backlash and the mass media focus that the 'anonymous' statements brought to the situation that they holstered the Lawyers and settled it out. However, when their entire customer bases' information is on

This review contains elements of spoilers. I have left most major plot elements out, however if you prefer to know nothing about the game, proceed at your own peril. Oh, and this is a wall of Text. You were warned. Firstly, let me just say why I’m reviewing Crysis 2, as I don’t post reviews that often. I honestly feel that it needs someone to say something nice for it, because it’s getting a lot of bad air. And, yes
