Thanks for the reply, and sorry about the delay in getting back you. Virtually anything that requires the mouse pointer or mouse wheel is basically impossible. Moving the mouse wheel to zoom, and edge scrolling is completely out of the question. Anything that requires a right click is also quite painful, as it becomes touch-and-hold, and it isn't always recognised. The lack of gesture support, such as pinch to zoom and swipe to scroll, is a good example of what I'm

Just a short thread. I've been digging into 1.3, and enjoying it immensely. Seriously, great job all 'round in my humble opinion. Anyway, I've also recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro, and frankly it's hard not to want to play Fallen Enchantress on it using optimised Touch controls. I was just wondering what the odds might be of getting a "Touch Mode" or something similiar for Fallen Enchantress? Thanks in advance.

I expect one of two situations for pricing for Microsoft, given what we know is in the box, and one for Sony. I think we know Sony won't repeat the Playstation 3 launch, I so I'm expecting US$350.00 for the Playstation 4. It automatically competes with the Wii U, which is over-priced for what it is anyway, and comes in cheap enough to increase early adoption. Microsoft, I feel, aren't going to be so cut and dry. They're repeating all of Sony's m

Oh, I forgot people still cared about Starcraft after Wings of Liberty, haha. I loved Starcraft, and adored Brood War. They were fun any which way you wanted to play them. Wings of Liberty, however, had an insulting bad campaign ("Hey Cowboy, here's some new schematics!") and it's "multiplayer" was rinse and repeat ladder play that was easily the most sterile gaming experience I've ever had. Hope you boys have fun with it, but Activision Blizzard should

Too big for a tablet, too slow for a Notebook, too expensive for a gimmick. The Pro model, however, is something special. It's powerful enough to be used as a work horse. It won't out-do your Desktop in terms of performance, but you could do some light coding on it. It's what I'm waiti

Well, at least the writing can't possibly get any worse. I think this is going to be one of those giant mistakes - like New Coca Cola - that live on in infamy. So, Episode VII eh? If it doesn't keep with the Skywalker story lines, it's a pointless cash in. If it does, I'll be interested to see where it goes. Cause, frankly, I see no way that this won't explode into a giant pile of shit.

I'm about 60 hours into it now, playing a Duel Wielding Summoner Outlander on Elite difficulty. Haven't even reached Act III yet! Sure, Torchlight II is entirely derivative and virtually free on any new ideas, but it's so damn well executed that it's almost impossible to call it out for that. It's fast, fluid, and feels like it's just itching to let me have fun. For comparison: I logged into my friend's Diablo III account and finished

I consider the iPad a pointless device, personally. I had the opportunity to road test one of the gen twos ages ago for a week or so, and I never really figured out what I was supposed to be doing with it. Typing is garbage, the screen isn't accurate enough for use as a dedicated art tablet, the lack of flash support kills it and my smart phone does better web browsing. Apart from being a nice eReader and movie player, which my notebook does for less then half the price,

I consider Doom 3 to be one of the best games of all time. I've been looking at the BFG Edition - mostly for it's native 3D Support - but I heard they re-worked the game to be faster? I actually really like it the way it is. Any confirmation on this?

Rock Paper Shotgun produce some of the best constructed reviews on the internet, and are easily the best PC Gaming site around. However, I think they cover themselves nicely with the "WOT I THINK" title - this is merely the reviewers opinion. And, like a few times before, our opinions differ in this case. It's no biggie as far as I'm concerned. I think it's a fair assessment of Elemental, and none of it is biased or unfounded. I can unders

I don't post often, but I wanted to chime in here: While I agree with some of his points, I think the comments about lacking a "soul" are just plain misleading. Part of the reason the Civilisations in the "Civilization" series have a personality is because they're based on pre-existing Civilisations. It's not a real comparison. "Master of Magic", on the other hand, doesn't do this - however while its races were somewhat orig

Truthfully, TBS games have never been an enjoyable experience for me in multiplayer. Something like "Play by Email" or whatever as I could possibly see as being something I'd enjoy, but trying to play Civ IV in multiplayer was utterly terrible. It works so much better as a single player game. Making it DLC - as long as it's cheap - I could understand, assuming it came with a full suite of multiplayer options, tools and support. I, personally, wouldn't b

Well, to be fair, they're probably not getting too much funding from the Beta; most of the active community here were around with myself when we were Beta Testing WoM. I suspect most of the funding would arise from the sale of Impulse. Considering it was becoming a solid competitor to Steam, I'm betting Stardock don't have to worry about funding for their games for a long, long time.

Honestly, Diablo III doesn't interest me in the slightest. I really enjoyed Diablo II - not just for it's quality Hack 'N Slash gameplay, but also for the story and world that it created. A mix between Crusader and Gothic worlds worked well with the horror aspects, and it came together into a package that was more than the sum of it's parts. Truth be told, there have been better Hack 'N Slashes out since Diablo II - Torchlight is better in terms of

I tend to agree - Path of the Governor doesn't feel fleshed out properly, in my opinion. In War of Magic, Heroes provided bonuses to a City when stationed that were dependant on their "Type". I liked this aspect. I'd like to see it evolved. Path of Governor should - in my opinon - make the Champion entirely City focused and give players another way to play them. It's all about choice. But, if my Champion doesn't gain enough XP, statio

Yeah, I can confirm this. When you click defend on a mounted Champion or Sovereign, and move your mouse cursor, the game displays the moveable grid that Area of Effect spells show - only with all tiles blacked out. If you right click on your Champion, it proceeds to play the Animation.

Agreed: Fallen Enchantress is a good game so far, with so many great elements. I guess the reason we're so critical because we don't just want a "good game", we want a "great game". If we didn't care, or want FE to live up to the potential it so clearly has, than we wouldn't post at all. My personal favourite aspect of the game is easily the atmosphere, and the love that has clearly gone into the game. From the title screen onwards, the game
