A merchant class hero is something to be. :)

He means that he starts off even with the AI, but then runs away the game - the AI can't keep up with his awesomeness. I tend to agree with his sentiment, but I have not played much with the latest round of AI changes either.

Jon doesn't owe anybody anything and he doesn't have anything to "answer" for.
I respect that you like Civ V - I like it as well. But it does have major bugs that on my system make the game more pain than fun. I do not blame Mr. Shafer for these issues, but I do believe tha

When a game is released "unfinished," that is just another way of saying "unplayable" or "unfun," which is the same as a "bad" game - it does not give the user pleasure. By unfinished I meant that the game did not ship with features printed on the box in actual playable, wo

T
I don't give much credit to the GBOR myself. It was quietly rewritten to allow a release like Elemental to happen and be called okay. The only thing that has any weight in the GBOR anymore is an idea of a refund. GBOR aside, I think your comparison is a little... harsh, as in not a good comparison at all. I could go into depth as to why sanctioned pedophilia is not on the same level as an software employee shifting from one company to
Glad to see another fan born. :) I would recommend not playing the campaign at all unless you're really into that sort of thing - much like Civ, this is based on the open-ended, create your own story deal. Here, have some karma! [e digicons]k1[/e]
If I had any talent at all I'd submit a quest suspiciously close to this classic movie. You must quest to find fire to help your tribe be able to eat cooked food again. Along the way you will encounter angry lions, mastodons and cannibalistic enemy tribes. Only fur armour and sharpened sticks may be used as well as any blunt rocks you find.
You should type that up and submit it! &n
Cool idea, would allow for more powerful heroes that have more/on going costs. Some additional ideas: Wants a randomly selected item purchased for him Wants to marry your son/daughter Requires a ritual sacrifice (one population every other year) Requires one Quest to be completed per five years (Wanderlust) Will disband if he leaves your territory/city (Scaredy-cat, defense oriented or for the bureaucratic type heroes)</li

Very cool. I'm glad the development for Elemental (the Elemental series?) carries on. I like the changes listed - I hope there are many more that we get to drool over soon. :) It seems like a wandering Sovereign challenge game mode would really fit into Fallen Enchantress, sort of like Civ's one-city challenge, except its a *no* city challenge. :P
The stand alone expansion is very fitting in this case. The Elemental saga needs a clean seperation from its base, and this is a good way to do it. I really hope that you guys do make radical changes to the game. I feel like critics would blast Stardock for releasing minor content additions, but something a bit more out there (maybe even closer to the crazy differences in Colonization for Civ IV) could really get people to turn their heads and give Elemental a fresh shot.</p

I can see it now, "The Quest for the Quest Posting.."
what does it take for quests to show up on the list?

Submission submitted. :) Fun contest, I'm curious to see what people come up with!
Heya Pacov! I play WoW with Hellabadass, just started this summer. It would be cool to play with you again, or at least having you hang out on our server. :)
A friend of mine had issues with the first Neverwinter Nights CD key, because it was poorly printed and impossible to read. In general, I don't mind the various DRM solutions. The only one that really frustrates me is the limited number of installs. Even with the option to "unregister" a computer, the idea that I have to pick out the games that require it before I reformat, or that I lose an install when my hard drive dies, is really annoying. Oh, and welcome to th
Interesting. If they don't do another Sins expansion, does that mean a new game/IP/Sins 2 development begins? As a casual gamer, I really enjoyed Sins, but I'm not sure that my enjoyment would be increased by another expansion, unless it did some really unique and cool stuff.
Playing a public game in Diablo 2, on their closed servers where characters are stored online, has three main issues as of current: 1. The fastest way to level is to follow a max level bot around, doing Baal run after Baal run. 2. Playing in any public game will cause you to be slammed with spamming bots 24/7, who join the game, say their recorded text, and leave. 3. People use bots to play for them to grind for items, made worse by these people selli
Quoting FutileEmotion, reply 50 One thing that bugs me about Blizzard, though, is that despite their ridiculous levels of success, they still have a hard time supporting and releasing titles in the Diablo franchise in any semblance of time. Not only is every patch late, some have been over a year late. From what I can tell, they only had one or two people working on these announced patches. Well in all fairnes
