Please remember that this (bolded text below) is the heart of Elemental. This is a 4x game, and although tactical battles and fun spells are cool, they should never come at the expense of all the things that make a 4x game great. I read often in these journal about how you guys are working on tactical stuff and making spells better, etc...but I much less about improvements that make EWoM a better 4X. That said, welcome! and good luck in your n
quoting post I love Elemental, but is there any "Galciv2"-style moments, where you're exploring and come across that class 36 or higher planet. Because THAT is a great moment, you know wars will be fought over those planets. It's one of the things that makes GC2 great...Does that kind of thing exist in EWoM? And shards don't really cut it. Actually it is in Galc
Quoting charon2112, reply 8I think the music is great. If you like GC2's music, you'll probably like Elementals... There are some games, which I missed an opportunity to play. Currently I'm reducing backlog and playing Master of Magic (from gog.com). Next will be Age of Wonders 1 (at the moment I only know the demo version and the music from it). I will have to wait for Gallactic Civilizations 2 and its music for a whil

If you get it, buy it at Wal-Mart, it's only $39.96...
Hi there everyone, I've been following the progress of this game religiously since I first heard about it (which was not long before release). I've always loved fantasy based strategy games, like Master of Magic, or even my recently discovered FFH2 mod for CIV4. For someone like myself who likes these types of g
Hello, I picked up a copy of the game at Walmart, and inside was an insert saying to go to www.elementalgame.com/walmart to enter the serial number to access the free content. Only, when I go to that address, it says log in to link the content with my Impulse account. When I log in, I get dropped back to the Elemental website's homepage, with no notification of whether it did anything or not, and at no point was I asked to enter my serial key. I've launched t

I totally agree. Diplomacy and an economic build are my play-styles too. Rather than focusing on combat and magic improvements, I'd prefer SD works on the diplomacy system. [e digicons]k1[/e]

Now it really seems like your children were designed to take over for your sovereign.
