Is it Monday yet?
If that is an answer to my post...how much can they do in two days, really?

can I just ask one thing? Are these the final graphics...?
Definitely an amateur article. Yuck. They don't seem to know what they're talking about. And what do they mean 'stale genre'? With Elemental and Civ V coming out, it's hardly stale.
Man, how can you have this list without Singe from Dragon's Lair...? http://www.pixelpower.on.ca/dl/images/DLAdam-750.jpg
I haven't heard Elemental's score yet, but I looovvvve GalCiv2's music (I keep the CD in my car on repeat, it's so cinematic, it's like a great film score). I can't wait to hear it though, is the music available anywhere yet?
Elemental: " Rich, single-player campaign with over 30 hours of gameplay. " I hope it will be more than that .
All I want is a great sandbox mode with a ton of options. The campaign means nothing to me.
I don't know, I don't mind being forced to install something. When I bout Fallout 3 game of the year edition, I had to install windows live. Guess how many times that bothered me while spending 180+ hours on this fabulous game and it's expansions...zero.
I absolutely love the Civ series...I think I can live with it. It would take a lot to keep me from Civ V.
so civ v will be like assassins creed 2 in that you need a constant connection to their server to play single player? that would be bad.
This doesn't affect my desire for Civ V in any way. Of course I'll get it. Who cares if you have to use steam? That's like complaining that a game is only available on DVD and not 3.5" floppys. This is a non-issue. This is no different than having to use Impulse.
I've heard conflicting info about exactly how combat is supposed to work. I'm not entirely sure ifn the devs know themselves! In any case, my understanding is that CTB is a little like chess: one guy from your side moves, then one guy from the other side moves, then you can move another guy, and so on.
I hope it's like GalCiv2, with a pausable combat viewer.
