I am coming a little late to the Party (to this Discussion thread, that is); because since Beta3, v0.915 came out, I have only been playing the 8 standard kingdoms/empires. Already, the restless masses are champing at the bit, in anticipation of the release of the Beta 4! I think that Gorde has outlined an excellent suggestion here ! For my part, I would suggest keeping it simple. I think the mechanics should be simple; and the effects should be straightforward. In other words I would suggest that there be just three opening lines: one that is clearly mildly hostile, one that is clearly mildly friendly, and one that is purely nuetral. <
